“I’m just glad I don’t have to get those daily text messages from you pretending to ask about the jobsite when you just wanted to know about your girl,” Charlie teased before taking a sip.

“You weren’t very helpful,” I reminded him.

“I wasn’t supposed to be. I wanted you to pull your head out of your ass. Looks like my plan worked out.”

“I mean, they started off with her using an alias. They’ve come a long way.” Benji clinked his glass to mine again.

“He’s a stubborn ass,” Samuel said, winking at me. “But he always figures it out. I’m just wondering what the plan is for that fucking porcupine who lives on the front porch.”

“Oh, didn’t he tell you? He has me building Porky a house of his own in the side yard that will match this one,” Charlie said, shaking his head.

“That fucker can’t stay on the front porch forever, and I can’t just put him out on the street. It’ll be a mini version of this house, and he can come and go as he pleases.”

“And that was a giant moose in the road that we passed driving here today, right?” Samuel asked for the fifteenth time.

“Ahhh ... yes, welcome to Blushing. That would be Clifford Wellhung,” Charlie said, his voice laced with humor. “Just don’t make eye contact. He’s got some giant balls, but he’ll keep to himself if you don’t mess with him.”

“I want to have swagger like that moose. He just moves through town like his shit doesn’t stink, with testicles the size of bowling balls,” Benji said as laughter erupted from all of us.

I glanced around the room and found my girl intently listening to Brianna.

As if she felt me watching her, her head turned slowly, her dark eyes locking with mine. Her lips turned up in the corner, and she smiled, her teeth sinking into that juicy bottom lip.

“How long are you fuckers going to stick around?” I grumped, suddenly wanting everyone to go home.

“Your girl smiles at you, and you want to kick us all to the curb?” Charlie laughed.

“Damn straight. We passed out gifts. We fed you. You had dessert. How long are you going to linger?” I tried to hide my smile, because I loved giving these guys shit.

“I’m happy for you,” Samuel said, his eyes slightly wet with emotion. Maybe it was from the booze. Maybe it was because he’d feared I’d never find this kind of happiness.

“Yeah, me too, brother.”

Holiday music piped through the speakers as we all moved around the room chatting with one another.

Howard and Lydia were the first to say they were going to head home, and slowly but surely everyone followed.

When my mother, Samuel, and Gino left to head to the hotel, we were finally alone.

I pushed the door closed and locked it before grabbing Montana and throwing her over my shoulder.

“What are you doing?” she squealed.

“I thought they’d never leave.”

“You’re ridiculous, Moneybags,” she said as I walked down the hallway and dropped her on the bed, and she bounced a little.

I hovered above her. “I’m ridiculous when it comes to you.”

“I’m ridiculous when it comes to you too.”

My mouth crashed into hers, and I kissed her hard. She pushed me back, and we were both frantic to get the other undressed, all while our lips never lost contact. I kicked off my shoes, and she was unbuckling my jeans before she shoved my pants and boxers down my legs, and I stepped out of them. My hands found the zipper on the back of her dress, and I rolled onto my back with her on top of me. She unclasped her bra and let it fall from her shoulders, exposing her perfect tits. My mouth watered at the sight as I teased her nipples with my thumbs. Her dark hair tumbled around her shoulders, and she looked sexy as hell. I couldn’t wait one more second, so I tore the lace panties at her hip and tugged them free, tossing them on the floor.

“You’re lucky you bought me all those replacements for Christmas,” she said as she positioned my tip at her entrance.

“I am lucky, baby. I don’t doubt that for one fucking second.”

She smiled as she slowly slid down my erection. My hands gripped her hips as I guided her up and down.
