The last twodays of Sunny’s holiday in the Mara passed in a whirlwind of fun, game drives, a trip to the national park and the wildebeest migration that made Sunny feel like she might never feel fly-free again.

She was still picking leaves from her shirt when Martin tapped on her tent door.

“Sunny?”

She unzipped her door and he slipped inside her tent.

She shook her head helplessly. “I have leaveseverywhere.”

Martin only laughed. “The leaves do work though, don’t they?”

Their group had been overwhelmed by the swarms of flies at the national park, as the insects followed the wildebeest migration. Mingati cut leaves from a local plant and they filled the truck with the branches to keep the insects away, but Sunny might have gotten carried away with how many she stuffed in her long-sleeved shirt.

“They work.” She wriggled out of her long sleeves and tossed the shirt on the chair by her bed, leaving her in nothing but a thin tank top. “But they’re kind of scratchy too.

Martin’s eyes fell to her breasts. He stepped closer. “Maybe I should help you.”

They’d fooled around some, but Sunny had been hesitant to take it any further when she knew she was leaving the next day.

What are you doing, Sunny? She could almost hear her sister’s voice. You’re wasting time on a perfectly good holiday romance!

“You’d help me?” Sunny rested her hands on his shoulders. “That’s so generous.”

He brushed a kiss over her mouth. “We aim to keep our guests very happy here at Karanja Safari camp.” He slid his fingers along her waistband and teased the bare skin along her belly. “I would hate to think that you had any twigs or leaves left to scratch your skin.”

Sunny lifted her arms. “Maybe it would be better if you took my shirt off.”

Martin let out a soft sigh and pulled the tank over her head, revealing her rose-colored bra. Sunny had been waiting to wear her “sexy panties” but these weren’t too ugly. She might even call them cute if they didn’t have greenery and sticks stuck to them.

“Sunny.” He kissed her shoulder and slid his hands to her back to unhook her bra. “You’re going to kill me.”

“That was not the plan,” she whispered. “But can you zip up the tent flap before we go any further?”

He spun around, zipped the tent, and was back with his hands on her breasts before she could utter another word. “Your skin is impossibly soft.” He took her mouth with his, kissing her to make her head spin.

She was already unbuttoning his shirt. “My skin? Yours is soft and your muscles are ridiculous.”

“They’re not ridiculous, they’re practical.”

“And don’t you see how sexy that is?” She shoved her hands over his shoulders and into his shirt, tugging the material from his back.

Martin shook his arms to get rid of the shirt, all the while walking Sunny backward to the bed. “We should have gone to my tent. My bed is huge.”

“This one is big enough.”

He shoved his knee between her thighs and put his hands on her bottom lifting her to ride his leg. “Tonight. Spend the night with me. After dinner—”

“Yes.”

That didn’t mean they couldn’t start in her tent. Sunny was lost in the heat of Martin’s skin against her breasts. He laid her back on the bed and tasted one breast, then the next.

“I can’t decide which one I like better.”

She put her hand on the back of his head and arched her back. “You don’t have to choose. They’re a package deal.”

He smiled against her skin. “Good.”

“Martin?”
