Everybody did. People that don’t even like country watched that show. It was number one on that streaming platform for… how many weeks?
Emma:
Twelve, I think. Maybe more.
Jojo:
Set a record. I think it was curiosity at first. August singing “Another Love Song” with the man who stole it from her. Rubberneck viewing. But you can’t tell me that anyone expected to hear it the way my girl sang it. I always liked that song because it was catchy. But it was also a little knuckle dragging, wasn’t it? Giving some poor woman grief because she won’t get over herself and let him write for her.
Emma:
It had that vibe, didn’t it?
Jojo:
Sure did. So, if that’s what you were expecting, the song you used to two-step to at the bar, that wasn’t what you got. My girl is a soul singer. She’s pulling something out of you up there. Anyone who’s ever lost something, lost it all over again when they heard her.
Emma:
I was never a fan of that song, or Luke Randall, until I watched that concert. I didn’t realize he was a blues guitarist.
Jojo:
