“Riley,” she said in a pure state of carnal pleasure. I could feel the sheets crumple under her hands as she grasped them tightly. “Riley, please.”

My cock swelled, stretching her ass impossibly further, and my own vision took on a slight haze as I prepared myself for one of the most intense orgasms I’ve had this far. Slithering my hand around her neck, I clamped down. All of my movements seized as I looked upon her body shaking and bleeding, all for me. Seeing her unravel was worth edging myself for.

“Call Me King. Tell me to fillmybeautiful ass,” I demanded.

Maya swallowed against my hand, a small sob breaking through. “Please bury yourself inside me and come in my ass, King!”

Oh my Fucking…

An animalistic need overcame my senses, and with one final thrust, my cock jerked, spilling my seed into her. Now, there was no question whether she was mine, and soon everyone would know.

A sharp intake of breath left Maya as I pulled out slowly. What we’d just done was beyond passion, so I stayed silent, letting nothing pierce her ears but our calming breaths as she came down from that high. Thankfully, I took notes from the last time and already had a basket of her favorite snacks and a mini fridge stocked with various waters and other drinks for her to choose from.

My finger ran across her cheek, trying to grab her attention as she stared at the ceiling in silence, and after a few moments, her eyes met my softened gaze. “Was that too much? What do you need?” I asked gently.

Her warm breath tickled the sensitive skin of my neck as she spoke. “Can you rest with me for a bit? Then we can clean up?” I nodded, opening myself up for her to nestle against my chest. Her body was slightly tense as I rubbed warmth into the expanse of her back. “Thank you for not being afraid to push my boundaries. I want to explore…with you. I need you to learn that I can take what you give me, and trust that I will let you know when, or if it’s too much.”

A small smile spread across my face. Maya was starting to make small changes, becoming stronger than she already was, which I didn’t even think was possible. I placed a kiss on the top of her shoulder and rose from the bed.

“Why don’t you get some water in you, and I’ll get us a shower started. We can talk over breakfast, and if you’re okay with it, then we can talk a bit deeper about it. We need something to do since you woke me up at five in the morning, you monster.”

She nodded, chuckling as she reached into the small appliance, and I turned toward the bathroom with a genuine smile, but it suddenly faltered when I reached for the invisible necklace around my neck. I’d wait until she was ready to give it back and trust that in time, she would. But I really wanted it back.

“We need to talk about Nicholas, too!” she called out.

A chuckle rumbled in my chest, and I just hoped that she would share the same desires as myself. I mean, she did watch us after all, and while I couldn’t see her then, I could almost guarantee her hand found its way below the belt.

“I know.”

Chapter Twenty

Maya

The room was even more eerie in the dim light, and a shiver ran down my spine. Riley would kill me if he knew I’d snuck in here after what happened a few days ago.

While cleaning up from this morning’s activities, I’d remembered that my phone sat at the bottom of the pool, and the SIM card was still salvageable. The information that phone held was irreplaceable. Most importantly, I wanted my picture.

The smell of chlorine burned my nostrils as I stood at the edge of the pool, reliving the moment in real time. Water wasn’t what scared me, it was the experience itself. How did one of Rocco’s men get into the house so easily? Are we even safe here anymore?Swallowing, my eyes moved to the middle of the pool where my phone sat, and right there next to it was the knife. I couldn’t help but wonder if there really was a purpose forRocco’s antics anymore, and I came to the conclusion that he just wanted me dead.

My fists balled at my side as I took a step closer, prepared to jump in. Nervousness and anxiety caused my heart to clench, but I swallowed down the fear and jumped into the water, gasping as the cold water enveloped me. The phone wasn’t that far down. I could see it as I kicked my feet to make it further to the bottom. Reaching my hand out, I snatched the phone from the bottom, trying my best to ignore the knife as I made my way to the surface. Swimming as quickly as possible, I scurried up the ladder and made my way out of the pool room to change for the second time today.

I pulled the dress over my head, letting it fall loosely down my body. It was one of Chloe’s dresses she’d let me borrow, but she wouldn’t be getting it back. It looked too good on me to let go, and I smiled softly as my eyes met my reflection. For the first time in years, I could stare at myself again and not completely hate the person staring back. My hand rested on the foundation that sat near my toothbrush, but I didn’t need it; there was nothing to cover up this time—no bruises or cuts. Danger still loomed over Riley and I, like a storm cloud, threatening to drench us completely. Today though, today my hand released the makeup, and I made my way down the stairs with a slowly growing sense of pride, respect, and confidence within myself.

Riley sat on the couch, head tipped over the back and eyes closed. A pang of guilt hit me for waking him up so early, but he indulged my pleasure when he should have been resting. Hiking my dress to my thighs, I straddled him, pressing my forehead into his chest, and reflexively, his arms wrapped around me. For a moment, we were both quiet, just enjoying the silence, when he spoke up.

“You look so beautiful for someone who’s going to be sitting in the house all day,” he murmured. “Let’s just stay like this and be lazy.”

I scoffed. “I have plans with Chloe today. I can’t suffocate in here, please, I’ll even get a new phone and turn on the location.”

His heavy sigh indicated his frustration as he repositioned our bodies to lock eyes with me softly. “Fine, but that’s the first thing you do, please, Maya. I just want to make sure you’re safe while I take care of something with Nick today.”

“Do you mean someone?” I asked with a hint of concern. “Riley, it’s not worth it.”

His eyes darkened immediately, never leaving mine. I could hear his jaw click, and the vein in his temple throbbed.

“Did he not try to drown you, Maya? Don’t fucking tell me it’s not worth it. He’s going to pay, just like Lorenzo.”

Lorenzo.
