“Are you okay?” Jensen seemed to relax when he heard the cardoors close and the engine come on.

She put a hand on Jensen’s arm, drawing him close. “It wasgood to talk to my mom. I know it’s dangerous, but…”

Jensen’s head shook, and he leaned over to brush a kiss onher forehead. “I’m glad you got to see her, too. I’m glad they came. It wasgood to spend time with them, and I’m definitely happy you made up with yourdad.”

She sighed and seemed comfortable between them. “Me, too.But it was stressful, and I’m worried and I’m never getting back to sleep. Ishould talk to Jack.”

That wasn’t happening. “He’s already asleep in the guestroom. We’ll talk in the morning. For tonight let’s see if we can get yourelaxed.”

“Yes, I think we could all use some comfort.” Jensen’s eyeswent soft as he looked down at her. He put his hands on her cheeks. “I want usto be together tonight. I know we had you earlier, but…”

She nodded. “I’m fine. Yes. I want you. I’m ready. Take meto bed and let me get in between you both. Talking to my mom gave me someperspective. I’m afraid and I’m not being brave. It’s easy for me to put mylife on the line, but my heart is a different story. I’m going to be brave fromnow on. I promise.”

“You are brave. You are fucking perfect, Harlow. I’ve alwaysknown it. You are smart and capable, and you deserve the absolute best life youcan have,” Jensen said.

“The best life is with us.” Niall wasn’t sure what was upwith his best friend, but he had the night and tomorrow to work on him. WithoutJack around dangling law enforcement promises in front of him, he might have achance.

Harlow nodded and turned her lips up. “All of us.”

Jensen leaned over and kissed her, practically inhaling hersweetness. Niall watched as his partner drugged their girl with kisses. She wassoft and pliant as Jensen picked her up and moved for the door. Arousal startedto thrum through his system.

They were going to get her between them and then it would bedone. Then their pledge would be made, and Jensen wouldn’t be able to back out.He was being paranoid. Like Harlow, he was letting his fear lead him, and heneeded to be brave.

This was going to work because he couldn’t imagine a worldwithout these two people.

He wanted to live this life with them.

He jogged to get ahead of them, opening the door and lettingthem through. Jensen was focused on the bedroom, but Harlow winked at Niall asthey strode by.

He followed them, pulling his shirt over his head as hewalked through the living room.

Jack opened the bathroom door and started to walk out andthen turned and closed it, obviously not willing to witness his cousin beingravished by the two men who loved her more than life itself.

He prayed Jensen loved her more than his own guilt.

Jensen strode through the door that led to the bedroom theyhad been sharing for days. He set her on her feet and kissed her, his mouthcovering hers, hands pulling her against his body.

Niall moved to the other side. What had been awkward atfirst now felt normal and natural. He let his hands roam the curves of her bodyas he kissed the nape of her neck. He breathed her in. He was never going toget tired of this. Of being with them. There was something special about beingwith the two of them that he wasn’t sure he could replicate on his own. Oh, ifanything happened to Jensen, Niall would be right there, taking care of theirgirl. But he would feel his loss, too.

“Your father is irritating,” Jensen said against her lips.“And I think he might have been planning on assassinating me. He told me hechecked out my apartment building, but I’m pretty sure he did recon on thewhole area.”

That made Niall chuckle. “A sniper’s perch was mentioned.”

Harlow growled, the sound strangely sexy. She was actually alittle like her dad, but it was sexy on her. “He is such a hypocrite. He fearsthe sniping above all others and yet it’s his first go to.”

Jensen focused on her. “I don’t care what he thinks of me.You’re all that matters, and you need to remember that. Anything Niall or I do,we’re doing it for you.”

“Which is why we’ll talk out any big decisions.” Yeah, thatdidn’t sound good. It sounded like they would be having a big talk in themorning.

“Of course we will,” Jensen said as though Niall wasworrying for nothing.

And he might be. This might be the trauma of the last fewyears messing with his head and threatening to cause drama where there wasnone.

He wanted to forget it all and concentrate on what they wereabout to do.

Make her theirs.

Harlow’s head shook. “I don’t want to talk about thistonight. Tomorrow we can sit down with my parents and my uncle and we’ll figurethis out. For tonight, kiss me. I want to be between you. I want to know whatit means to have both of my men.”
