Am I? Am I bad Zephyr?

“Sometimes.”

“Is it why you do what you do?” She asks, grabbing my cheeks in her palms and bringing my face up to look at her.

“Yes and no.” I sigh, feeling her lips on mine ever so softly.

It’s a stark contradiction to what we’ve just done, and welcome more than I would care to admit.

Awww, big bad killer has a soft spot.

“Are you hearing him now?” She asks, brushing her lips so gently on mine, kissing and just touching. “Does he talk to you when you’re touching me?”

“Touching, yes. Inside you, no. When I slip into you, he’s quiet.”

“So having sex with me, makes you better?”

“I guess you could say that.” I say, shrugging my shoulders, watching her bounce in my grasp with the movement.

Looking over my shoulder she peers into the dumpster. She sighs and brings her focus back to me.

“It’s almost out. Take me home Zephyr, so I can keep your brain quiet all night.”

“You sure?”

“Abso-fucking-lutely.” She giggles and holds onto me tighter when I go to put her down. “Carry me home. I don’t want to stop touching you.”

Leaving Barbara to finish burning out, I carry my angel home. She kicks her feet and nuzzles against the crook of my neck as I walk around the corner, cross the street, and practically jog up her front steps.

Something big has happened. We’ve changed. She is more like me than I thought, and she accepts me, or at least seems to. She knows abouthimand still wants me to take her home. She wants to help me as much as I want her to be mine.

“Mine.” I say, kicking her front door shut behind us, running my hand up into her hair.

“Yours.” She sighs. “Take me to bed.”

“I’m not tired yet.”

“We won’t be sleeping.”

“Ooohhh baby.”

Walking through her apartment with her wrapped around me still, she puts her hand out on the door frame and stops us when we reach the kitchen. She grabs a glass candle off the counter and tucks it under her arm with a devious little smirk on her pretty face..

“Sex by candlelight?” I ask, raising my brow at her.

“Something like that.” She purrs, then reaches down between us, shoving her hand into my pants pocket, fishing around inside it. “I know you have a lighter in here somewhere mister pyromaniac.”

“Mmmm a little to the left baby.” I say when I feel her fingers brush up against the side of my still semi-hard cock. “That’s it, right there.”

“Zeph! That’s not a lighter.” She squeals, playfully smacking me on the chest with her free hand, almost dropping the candle.

“No, but it’ll still light you up.”

“Fiend.”

“Never said I wasn’t. In fact I’m not denying anything with you anymore.”

“Good.”
