When it began vibrating and giving him the best backrub of his life, he moaned.

“Never mind. I like this. I’ll shut up,” he said, as it got that stiff spot in his shoulder.

Jagger got his wife coffee, and started pouring more for everyone. As they each grabbed them, they settled back down after their naps.

“Merry, did you do what I asked?” she said.

“Yes, Boss, I did. The tracker is live, and I can tell you right where the helicopter is.”

Jagger choked on his coffee.

“Wait. What?”

She stared at him.

“I had Raphael shoot a tracker onto the bottom of the helicopter. So we can track his moves.”

Jinx smiled.

“I mean, that makes our life easier,” she stated. “Why didn’t we think of that?”

Elizabeth handed out the bags of beignets and settled down next to Calyx, so they could share.

“Well, that’s a good question. Didn’t you do that before when tracking…?”

They were all staring at her.

Yowza.

“Tough, under rested room of bitchy Marines. You guys need more sleep.”

That was an understatement.

They were also hella pissed off for dropping the ball and losing a mission. It was anything but the norm to let the bad guy get away.

“Anyway, Merry, where is he?”

She clued them in.

“The helicopter has left the area. It’s flying over Tennessee right now. I’ll have a location when it stops.”

Maura was curious.

“We’re taking a road trip?”

Elizabeth shook her head.

“No, he’ll be back. What did you find in the building?” she asked.

“Well, that he didn’t take anything with him, so I doubt he found the key. The rest of the stuff was all Hemmingway’s, and nothing special except to the man and his family.”

She’d have to get that back to them.

“Merry, is the money still untouched?”

She hit a button, and the screen showed the money, and it was actually increasing.

“The cryptocurrency is making money,” Merry admitted. “No one has tried to access it. By now, he would have emptied it if he had access.”
