“I’ll go,” she managed to croak out. “You can have him. It’s not worth my time!”
Gabby released her and shoved her.
That was where she was wrong. Finn was worth all of the time in the world.
“Get your princess pink luggage and get your ass back on a plane to go anywhere but here. I’m moving in and marrying him. If I even smell your knockoff perfume five feet near my husband, I’m going to beat your ass so bad it takes your parents ten years to identify what I leave behind!”
The woman gasped.
Oh, well, she wasn’t done.
Gabby grabbed the cat carrier and went back through the door.
“And screw you for stealing his cat!”
With that, she slammed the door.
Once inside, Fiona and the family began clapping wildly at the show.
Gabby curtsied.
That’s when Finn headed her way, and he kissed her on the mouth. It was a very warm kiss too. When he finally broke it, he stared into her eyes.
“That was incredibly hot. My soon-to-be wife is sexy when she’s annoyed.”
She smiled.
“Thank you. I meant what I said. If I catch her near you, she’s bleeding. I’m not playing nice with that Irish floozy.”
Finn laughed.
Until she handed him the carrier and he looked inside expecting to see his cat.
“Uh, Gabby?”
She paused.
“Yes?”
He gave her the bad news.
“This isn’t my cat.”
At his words, they all broke out in outrageous laughter over the situation.
And his family knew one thing.
Yeah, Finn McKnight had chosen well.
Gabby was going to fit in just fine.
