AftertalkingtotheEvergreen Pack at the barbeque, I got a much better sense of the area, the locals, and what makes this place such an attractor for tourists. As a result, my marketing campaigns have shifted, and my teams are taking a new approach. I've been working on them all day.
I'm Sunny's point person right now in case anything with Craig happens on the farm. The guys have been going in and out all day.
The screen door opens and closes with a screech and a bang. I've really come to love that sound. It's the sound of summer and sweetness to me now. Everything around the farm is a perfect summer portrait. I'll never get over how the sunflowers follow the sun all day, the bees hum around the land, or the cool breeze drifts in from the lake.
Hunt comes in, and my eyes catch on him. His face and shirt are damp with sweat, his brown skin is glowing. He's gotten darker since we came here, and I love it. His eye color pops more against the rich brown. He goes for the sink and drinks the coolwater straight from the tap. Watching his throat work to take it all down has me adjusting myself before he notices. When he straightens, water drips from his chin. A small growl slips from me. His eyes shoot to mine, surprised. Then he smirks, the bastard.
"I didn't see you there," he says, walking over to the dining room table and leaning against it next to me. My hands twitch, but I keep them on my laptop keys.
"Yeah, just working on some stuff," I say lamely. His eyes trace my face. I always feel so exposed when I'm with him. Does he understand how he affects me? He did before I messed everything up with the omega courtings last year. After that, we'd spent almost no time in the same room. I was convinced that the pack would split before we came here and met Sunny. She's the light of my life. I want her more than the sun… but I also want Hunt. They're both so important to me.
I should tell them. I'm always incapable of keeping my damn mouth shut except when it actually matters.
I open it, wanting to tell him all that, but instead, I say, "It's hot."
I want to die. Why onearthcan't I fucking tell Hunt that I want to try again? Probably because I fucked it up, and I don't deserve to ask for that.
He smiles that crooked smile, and I want to pull him to me and kiss it off his face.
"Yeah. I'm actually going to go take a shower. I'm gross." He looks like he wants to add something, but he just shakes his head and goes to the hall. I want to tell him that he's never gross, and I'd love to help him in the shower, but he's gone, and I'm left in misery.

I'veneverseenourpack so happy. My Pretty Girl lays between me and Cole on the biggest beach blanket I've ever seen. So much of her glorious skin is on display that it makes me protective of anyone else seeing her on this beach, and fiercely, achinglyaroused. I have to adjust myself every few minutes to keep my raging hard-on from view through the trunks I bought at Dandy Stuff.
Sunny's friend, Winnie, had been at the store. She noted that the charm bracelet seemed to have been a hit since she'd seen Sunny wearing it the day before. I'd grinned like an idiot and then bought three more charms. They're dangling off Sunny's bracelet now, though she left it in the car so it wouldn't slip off in Lake Michigan's choppy waters. Other than swimming and showers, she hasn't taken it off.
Several freighters the size of small islands pass in the water, making fun waves for children to splash and jump in.
Children. I look at Sunny and imagine her round with one of our pack babes inside her. Of having a whole gaggle of children, with golden blonde hair and big blue eyes, running around the farm. I can't help but lean over and scent mark her warm skin where her throat and collarbone meet. She lifts her hand to run her fingers through my hair and against the back of my scalp.
Cole, on her other side, is watching the water. We're at North Bar, the place Sunny told me was her favorite when we'd met at the coffee shop. I can see why. The parking lot is hidden in the trees and no one advertises its location. It's clearly just for locals. It's one of those wonderful places where you'd never find it if someone didn’t tell you about it. From the dirt lot carved out of the forest, you have to walk down a hiking trail to a small lake. At first glance, it doesn't seem incredibly special until, you realize the lake flows out via a stream between two dunes and leads to the most picturesque beach I've ever seen. It empties into Lake Michigan, which is so vast it may as well be the ocean.
Hunt and Jess are tossing around a football a little ways from us. It's been a long time since I've seen their relationship on display. As they toss, they talk about the construction and what they want to do with the new hotel. When I pull away from her neck, I note that Sunny watches them too, with a content smile on her face. Omegas instinctually crave pack harmony. If we're all working together, it creates a safer, more stable situation for them.
Sunny suddenly gets up and sprints between Hunt and Jess, snatching their football out of the air. They both look stunned momentarily before her voluminous giggle snaps them back. She's running, and they chase her.
Cole and I glance at each other. A silent communication. We both like to chase. We want to know if Sunny would enjoy that. We still aren't sure without talking to her. But the sight of her charging across the sand and splashing into the warm lake water shows us how much we'd be missing if we don't at least ask her.
Hunt and Jess race into the water after her, and Sunny squeals in delight as Hunt catches her around the waist and pulls her into his chest. Cole sits up straighter, and so do I. Alphas can sometimes lose control when an omega gives chase. Especially if it's a new courtship. Neither of us thinks all of these picnicking families would appreciate that kind of a show right now. But Jess barrels into the two, wrapping his arms around Sunny and Hunt as he takes them down into the waters. Sunny slips Hunt's grasp when they emerge, only to be put over Jess's shoulder. He spins her around, and her laugh is so genuine, loud, and bright that it fills every inch of my soul.
I have an open book on the towel next to me, but I can't bring myself to miss a moment of them. I'm surprised when Sunny leaves the guys, who are wrestling to try to dunk each other for dibs on her, to jog up the beach toward us.
She holds both hands out, one for me and one for Cole. I don't even hesitate. I grab her hand before Cole can and pull her down. Her wet, cold skin against my sun-charred chest sends ripples of pleasure up my back. I capture her mouth in a claiming kiss. This isn't slow or chaste. It's open-mouthed and dirty. But I need it. Her eyes are heavy when I pull away, and her perfume swells around us.
My hard length presses into her bare stomach, and she groans.
Cole is instantly beside me, kissing our girl's cool shoulder. Then, without warning, he stands, taking her with him. He holds her bridal style as he walks to the water, kissing her and whispering things that make her blush and smile. I take it all in for one more moment before following them.

I'mswimmingformylife when a big hand encircles my ankle and pulls me down. It's all the fear ofJawsand all the fun of childhood. I'm only under for a second before I'm being gathered against a hard chest and brought back up to the surface.
"Got you, Bumblebee," a grinning Hunt announces. The guys have made chasing me around the water into our little game. My legs wrap around his stomach as he clutches my ass, holding me over the water. Hunt plants a wild, open-mouthed kiss on me. It's filthy and ragged and has me wondering if the lake is making me wet, or something else.
Jess, who has no sense of private space, presses his entire chest against my back and nuzzles his face into the exposed skin at the back of my neck, hands resting on my hips just above Hunt's hands on my ass. My hair is in a high ponytail. Perfume, which had been masked by the water, rushes off me. Both men groan.
"Probably time to go," Cole grumbles beside us. He reaches his arms out to me.
