My hands rested on his hips as we stood there for a few minutes, re-familiarizing ourselves with each other’s presence. We hadn’t been apart for long, but after spending almost our whole lives together, the last week and a half had felt like another lifetime.
“And how do you plan to rectify missing me?”
Brandon’s eyebrows lifted playfully before he leaned in and nipped at my lips. He grabbed my hand and led me back to the bedroom. As much as I wanted that, we really needed to talk more about what happened. When I halted, he turned, and I didn’t miss the look of uncertainty that flashed in his eyes.
“Is this okay?” His voice shook, plagued by the doubt caused by him shoving me away.
“It’s more than okay, but I think we need to talk about things first.”
Brandon nodded, changed direction, and led me to the couch. Now that we were back together, he couldn’t let go, like if he released me or wasn’t touching me, I’d vanish into thin air again.
“Keeping things between us was really stupid.”
I sighed, sifting my fingers through his hair. “It wasn’t stupid at first. I understood why you wanted to keep it special. It was how long we kept it quiet. If we’d kept it between us for a week or two, that was one thing, but the longer it went on, it felt more and more like you were ashamed of me versus being in love with me.”
When Brandon’s eyes watered, I leaned in to kiss him. “No more of that crying. You apologized. I accepted it.”
“It doesn’t change the fact that I still did something absolutely awful, then tried to make it seem like you were the bad guy when you told a friend.”
I laced our fingers together between us and squeezed his hand. “So let’s make a deal. From here on out, no more secrets. Everyone knows and I want to love you in front of everyone. Is that okay?”
A watery laugh left Brandon as he lunged across me, wrapping me in another hug. “I wouldn’t have it any other way. It was driving me insane not being able to touch you in public.”
“Oh yeah? How about touching me in private right now?”
A devilish smirk spread across Brandon’s face as he wiggled in my lap. “Yeah? I never thought you’d ask.”
His warm lips crashed against mine and the last week and a half melted away the second my hands slipped beneath his shirt. A shiver raced through my body at the contact. Brandon’s smooth skin was a welcome distraction from the chaos my head had been in.
Brandon lifted his arms above his head, and I pushed his shirt up and off. He was quick to work the buttons free on my shirt while our lips and mouths fought for dominance.
God, this was perfection.
Maybe this was why people broke up and got back together. This already felt more intense than ever before. I was acutely aware of everywhere our bodies touched and every bump, ridge, andline. Brandon was putty in my hands, pliable and bendable to my control as I ushered him to lie back.
The muscles in Brandon’s abdomen contracted as my fingers trailed down his front to find the snap of his pants. Our lips remained connected as he breathed a fast “fuck yes” against them.
Everything was right this time. There was no more worry about how we were going to cover anything up if I got carried away and left some sort of mark.
It wasn’t long before we were naked and writhing on the couch. It wasn’t my first choice of places to do this, but I was also in a hurry, so fuck it. The couch would have to do. Brandon’s skin against mine had every nerve ending singing, firing little shocks to my balls as I slid against him.
“You taste so damn good,” I panted as I trailed kisses across his jaw and down his neck, pausing to suck at the skin. He let out a low growl as I left a purple bruise.
There was a sticky mess against my abs from where his cock leaked against me. My fingers trailed through it and I brought it to his lips.
One finger and then two disappeared into his mouth and when his tongue swirled around them, my hips rocked of their own accord, seeking more friction.
“God, you’re perfect.”
That wicked gleam was back in Brandon’s eyes as I pulled my hand free and trailed it back down his body to find its place between his legs.
The puckered ring of his entrance gave easily to the press of my middle finger. My brow raised at how easy it was.
“I might have hoped that things would head in this direction tonight.”
“You prepped for me?”
Brandon nodded as I pressed a second finger alongside the first. He was so slick and warm that I wondered how he’d sat through dinner without squirming.
