“Yeah, that's right, Lila. River doesn't just mean my cock, either…”

“Oh my,” I whisper as my pussy clenches around nothing. I’m so fucking turned on, and they haven’t even done anything to me yet.

“I’ve never given anyone my knot, either,” Harrison adds to my left, and I look up at him with wide eyes. “But you already knew that. I wanted to save it for my omega. The right girl. I want you to be my first, and last, Lila.”

“Me?” I gasp.

“Only you,” Harrison nods, but River steals my attention back to him, cupping my face and forcing me to look at him.

“Only you, Lila. I can see the look in your eyes, and I know there's a voice in your head telling you that you’re not enough. Lying to you about what my pack wants from you. Fighting to convince you that you aren’t good enough. But we don’t lie, andwe would never fucking say these things to an omega if we didn’t mean every word,” River growls.

“Why?” I can’t help but ask. The word barely more than a whisper.

“Why not? You’re beautiful, kind, genuine, and sweet. Your scent is the most alluring thing I’ve ever smelled. The shy way you look at us is adorable, and the nervous way you chew your lip when we get close makes me fucking hard. You’re everything we’ve ever wanted in an omega.” Wes is the one to answer, and his words touch me so deeply that tears fill my eyes.

“Just give us the chance to prove ourselves, Lila. We won’t hurt you. I promise,” River vows, but I shake my head.

“You can’t know that,” I argue.

“You’re right. But what I can promise you is that we would never hurt you intentionally, and if we do it by accident, we’ll do whatever it takes to make it better. To fix our mistakes. We can promise to be kind, caring, and attentive, and if we ever fail, we can promise to make it right,” River says, gripping my chin, so I can’t look away.

“Now let us take the ache away, Sweet Omega, your pain has been driving my instincts mad,” Harrison begs.

Maybe I’m a fool. Maybe it shouldn’t be this easy to give in to them, but it is.

“Okay,” I nod.

“Once your heat hits fully, you’ll be all instincts. Do you want to put together a nest now? We have a space in a spare bedroom that’s never been used. We can bring in the blankets from our beds, and–”

“Yes,” I nod, cutting River off, “and your hoodies.” I push myself up, eager to see the space, and start putting things together exactly how I like them.

“Alright, Sweet Omega. Harrison and Wes will grab everything while I show you the room.” River stands, and I moveto stand, but the alpha isn’t having it. Instead, he picks me up. I wrap my legs around his waist and nuzzle into his neck, taking a deep breath of his scent.

On the opposite side of the apartment from the guys' rooms is another room, and once River pushes through the door, I wiggle free from his arms. This will do. I don’t look around much, but notice that the smaller room has a low bed frame with a California king mattress. I head for the stack of blankets to inspect them. None of them smells like another omega, or anything besides these three men. Good.

The different blankets and pillows are shades of cream and purple. A lavender blanket, in particular, captures my interest as I rub it against my face.

Whiskey. Balsam and cedar. Spiced pecans. Scents that remind me of cozy nights and soft touches. Of burning need and endless pleasure.

I’ll use these as the base of my nest. As I get to work, laying them out how I want, adding the hoodie of Harrison’s that I had been wearing, I hear River groan behind me, and glance back at him as I work on padding the edges. I’m on my hands and knees in the center of the nest, smoothing the bumps and lumps of the blankets.

He’s watching me with an intensity I can’t read, but his scent says he’s very turned on. The need in his eyes has me flushing again. My heat can’t be more than three or four hours away now. Is my scent already getting heavier?

“Putting you in our clothes was the right choice, but watching you build your nest in nothing but my shirt and that slick ruined thong is top-tier torture for my cock,” River says breathlessly, as Wes and Harrison join us with their arms full of more blankets and hoodies.

I jump up and snatch the biggest blanket away from Wes so I can add it to my collection. I do this two more timesbefore taking the hoodies from Harrison. I’m getting restless as I place the last hoodie. Their scents are so strong it's almost overwhelming.

“Every time your sexy ass peeks out from under the shirt, I think I lose a brain cell,” Harrison groans. I giggle, glancing over at him. Then I lean back, resting against the edge of the nest, and watch the alphas.

They’re all so handsome. Strong and dominant.

What if I’m not good enough?

I shake the negative thoughts away. They said they want me, and I want to believe them.

I want them. Trust isn’t easy for me, but I think it’s getting easier with these men.
