Reece let out a sigh of pure bliss as he lay on his bed, his briefs and jeans still down and his naked body on display, his stomach covered in his sticky, hot mess. There were orgasms, and then there wereOrgasms– and Reece was in absolutely no doubt about which category this one fell into.
It had been a busy day, one full of drama – but Reece knew that he would get a good night’s sleep now.
And tomorrow? Well, Reece was ready to kick it’s butt and come out fighting, even if that had to be in a literal sense…
The following day started with a bang as Reece received a phone call from his agent to say that he had a last minute audition for a TV pilot. This was of course great news, but it did mean that Reece had to make hasty arrangements to change his shift at Mocha Madness. Thankfully this wasn’t a problem as Reece and his fellow baristas were all either actors, writers, or musicians and this meant that they were all ready and willing to step in and cover for one another as and when required.
So with his work duties covered, Reece got changed into a smart black sweater and light-blue denim jeans and headed across town to the office space where the audition was set to take place.
“Okay, so I’m guessing this is it…” Reece said as he stood outside the address for the office block that his agent had given him. “Deep breath. Focus. Now give ‘em hell!”
The part was for a feisty, up and coming lawyer who liked to do things his way rather than play by the rules. Reece could see why his agent thought that this would work for him, and the lack of preparation time didn’t bother him either as apparently the producers wanted the actors to be as natural and off the cuff as possible for the filmed auditions.
With his confidence high and the adrenalin pumping, Reece navigated his way up five floors and duly saw the sign on the office door indicating that the auditions were being held there.
Okay, come on Reece.
This part is yours.
You’ll be back in LA before you know it…
However after signing some papers for the production assistant and duly waiting his turn, Reece was aghast as he stepped into the audition space and saw none other than Timo Taylor sitting behind a desk. And worse, Timo had the most smug, self-congratulatory look on his face that anyone could ever imagine.
“You…” Reece said, his heart sinking as he realized that he had no chance in hell of getting this part.
“Hey, listen, let me explain,” Timo said, standing up from the desk and walking toward Reece with his arms open. “I made a mistake. Okay. I got the signals mixed up. I screwed up. What can I say?”
“You could say sorry,” Reece answered.
Reece wasn’t overly impressed with Timo’s non-apology but was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, even if it was merely a stay of execution.
“Sure,” Timo said, handing Reece a script. “You’d be great for this role.”
Reece took the script from Timo and scanned his eyes over the page. It was blank. As Reece turned the page, he saw another blank page. And then another. And another.
“What the hell is this?” Reece asked, a sudden wave of nervousness coming over him as he realized that it was just him and Timo in the room. “Is this a joke?”
“Come on, baby, relax,” Timo sneered. “I want to see how well you can go with the flow and ad-lib.”
With that, Timo leaned over and grabbed Reece by the waist and pulled him in for a kiss. Acting totally on instinct, Reece brought his hand up and slapped Timo on the cheek and mouth as hard as he could before pulling away from him.
Reece felt the tears welling up inside him. He knew he had to leave, and leave quickly. But as he went to run away, Reece tripped and found himself face down, flat on the floor.
“I told you that I know bad people!” Timo said, a wild look in his eyes as he rubbed a slither of blood away from his lip. “No one says no to Timo Taylor! No one!”
Reece was now in tears as he hauled himself up and ran out of the room, all the while hearing Timo’s maniacal ranting following him as he left.
And Reece didn’t stop running until he was out of the building and across on the other side of the street.
With his heart beating fast and a sense of genuine panic coming over him, Reece took a second to get his cell phone out. It was time to call Benjamin and Kyan and tell them what had happened – maybe they would know what he should do about it all.
But just as he swiped his phone open, Reece saw a new message – and it was from Faustino…
FAUSTINO: I hope you don’t mind, I just had to get your number. I have my methods. That ‘some other time’ we spoke of. I’m thinking today. As in, right now. I’ll send you the address. Do not be late.
With what had just gone down, the last thing that Reece wanted or needed was a date. But as he stared at Faustino’s message, Reece realized that perhaps the decision wasn’t as easy as he might have imagined. Faustino was a Daddy. He was a protector. And right now, what Reece needed more than anything was a Daddy to wrap his arms around him and make everything feel better, even for just a single moment…
