He took her wine and placed both of their glasses on a nightstand. Her heart raced. Would he kiss her again? She felt that slight tingle of excitement. He turned back to her. "Friends are not what we are."

Her eyelashes fluttered. "We're not?"

The warmth of his body heat sent a thrill down her spine, as he scooted closer to her. He came close enough that she could feel his heart beat in tandem with hers. Then he stopped.

She kept her arms to her side. "What's wrong?"

He swallowed. "Let's get you out of my room."

Then why was he still so close? She couldn't believe him. She shook her head. "I wanted to see the view from the tower. You won't hurt me if you kiss me."

The hum in her body strengthened. He came closer to her, and she closed her eyes. His shadow was palpable and her lips tingled for that kiss. The fevered thrill of his closeness overtook all thoughts in her brain. "Raphael, please."

His lips were fractions of an inch away. He whispered his tortured plea: "Tell me not to dream of you."

She shook her head. "I can't. I want you."

His hand squeezed her hip and a wild longing grew deeper. She let out a sigh. Why hadn't he kissed her? "Kiss me, now."

She parted her lips, and the headiness grew the moment his hard mouth brushed against hers.

His hands circled her back, and she wiggled closer into his embrace. His erection grew near her hand, and she lifted her head to offer him her neck.

With her fingers entwined in his hair, his stubble tickled against her sensitive skin. "Raphael, I want you."

"I should stop."

"Don't you dare." She lowered her hands and massaged his muscular back. "We both want this."

A groan escaped him and he stepped back to toss his shirt on the ground.

Emboldened, she lifted her dress and tossed it next to his shirt.

He hadn't moved, but he stared at her with his mouth open. She set Erica's picture next to their glasses then reached out and squeezed his butt. There was no stopping this. Not now.

His lips claimed hers again, and her hands brushed against his naked chest. He sat back. "Kimberly, there are things you don't know, and I can't tell you that will drive you away."

"That's fear." She kissed his neck and unbuckled his belt. "We have no control over our lives, the past or the future. All we have is right now."

She must have said the right thing. He unzipped and dropped his pants. She stared at his massive erection. No other man was that big. Her mouth opened. Until right now, she'd believed the description of a huge cock to be fairytales.

She was wrong. "Will that fit?"

A guttural laugh escaped his throat, and she giggled. Her face was red. Had she just said that? Truly?

Then his strong hands squeezed her hips. She glanced up at his face, and he told her, "When we're done, you'll be mine."

She cocked her head and shrugged. "Good luck with that."

The jolt in her body struck her dumb the moment his naked, hard body pressed against her soft, pliant curves. His hands circled her backside and lightly patted her. The succulent yearning for him overtook all other thoughts, and she pressed backward onto the bed and guided him on top of her.

This was how she wanted him.

His hands brushed against her breasts, and her nipples were already pebbles. His light kisses on her girls left her panting. She arched back and told him, "Suckle."

A laugh escaped his lips again, but his kisses went lower.

Was he? No man had ever kissed her apex. Her hand flew to her mouth to cover a scream the second his tongue brushed against her center. The wetness of her pleasure grew. His lips kissed her nether parts, and she screamed.

His five o'clock shadow tickled, and he kept his mouth there. He kissed deeper.

A frenzy grew inside her, and she lost control of herself.

He watched her for a moment. She swallowed. This was far from done. She'd not let him go.

Sparks of awareness came back to her, and she kissed his lips. The fervor in her caused her to gasp the moment his massive length entered her.

The aching need for him grew, and she gasped again.

The pace was strong and sure, and soon she lost herself in the burning heat. Raphael and she joined, and for the moment, this was all that mattered. He was hers for the night. She didn’t want to think about forever.
