“Whoprotectsyou?”

The room was that silent, I was sure someone walking past the dining hall, would have heard me.

I leaned closer, my lips grazing her ear now.

“Bastion and Luca Crow,” she whispered.

“Louder.”

She grinned. “Bastion and Luca Crow.”

That’s right.Ours.

Luca was right. Loving her was terrifying. Even now, as I had her in my grips, I knew, keeping her wouldn’t be easy.

And then I leaned in one last time, voice rough at her ear.

“Don’t be late back tonight.”

I felt her shiver.

“You’ve got two men who really want to show you how fucking proud we are of you.”

Chapter Thirty-Seven

EMILIA

After the scene in the dining hall, the boys had beenveryhappy when I got to the room.

Bastion had a lazy grin on his face as he looked at me — standing at the end of the bed wearing a white satin set.

Both were looking at me like I was somethingspecial.

“But first… take off that robe.”Bastion voice was soft. But itcarried.

My breath caught.

“Slowly,” Luca added, voice dark and velvet. “Take it offslow.”

Their eyes burned through me. I trembled as I loosened the tie at my waist, letting the robe slip from my shoulders.

Both of them exhaled sharply when they saw what I wore underneath — white satin.Barely-there. Delicate straps, thin lace over my hips, the kind of thing I didn’t wear for anyone.

“White,” Bastion muttered, dragging a hand over his jaw. “How fucking fitting.”

“Damn, baby,” Luca rasped, sitting forward slightly. “We canseeyour nipples through that.”

My throat dried. Because they could see everything through it.

Bastion leaned back again, settling against the headboard, fingers running through his hair like he was considering somethingdangerous.

“Should she climb over one of us…” Bastion’s voice cut through the heat. His eyes flicked to Luca, “…or should we make hercrawl?”

“She shouldcrawlfor us.” Luca’s answer was quiet. Sharp.

He ran his hand slowly down the center of the mattress, eyes locked on mine.

“Come on, baby. Crawl up to be between your daddies.”
