A Little Time Later . . .
Lumberton, North Carolina
When Thaddeus received the call from Arrow to come down to speak with him and MJ, he welcomed them. He would never miss an opportunity to fellowship with family and friends. He was also excited to know that his Aunt Alexi was coming with her brother and nephew. Thaddeus’s wife, Elsbeth, wanted any reason to cook for people.
As the mother of a three and one year old, she was open to any opportunity to adult with other adults. Shortly after Thaddeus and Elsbeth had their son, Thaddeus Junior, Thaddeus asked his wife for another child. She happily told him that she would have a gang of kids for him. The gods blessed them with a daughter that they named Bethani Rumble Lourie. While Thaddeus served as the chief of the tribe, Elsbeth ran the reservation’s pharmacy with her best friend, Makayla.
“Orion, I will call a special pack meeting for tonight. I personally would love to have you not only live among us butjoin our pack. It would be a great honor to add a centaur to our ranks,” Farad announced. He was excited about the news. The centaur beast was reverenced by the pack just as much as the wolf beast.
Agamemnon sat next to his son while the conversation about his move to the reservation took place. He was thankful that there was so much love around his son off the strength of his sister. Happiness was what he wanted for his son. He knew that his son craved love and was in search of his forever. They discussed the topic ad nauseum. Eleanor and Agamemnon spent their days loving each other and teaching their son how to properly love. Orion was raised to be a husband.
Orion was ecstatic about the meeting. It would be his first meeting of this kind. Yes, he would be judged and voted on, but that gave him no pause. Another lesson that he learned from his parents was his confidence that often bordered on arrogance.
His parents created an outstanding man with a beast that rivaled others. In Greece, when it was mating season for the centaurs and centauride, he couldn’t keep the centauride off him. That season was the only time that the beasts transformed into their human form if they didn’t have the rare genetic marker. The mating season lasted anywhere from a few weeks to a couple months. There were signs to indicate when the season was coming to an end and it was time for them to head back to their woodlands for protection.
“That sounds like a plan. I’m excited to meet everyone. If the gods and the votes allow, I’m even more excited to become a member of the pack. This is going to be a new experience for me, and I’m ready to learn as much as I can to be an asset,” Orion responded to Farad.
Farad and Thaddeus didn’t think twice about welcoming Orion. Although they didn’t think twice, they still wanted to honor the decision of the pack. Farad excused himselfto telepathically reach out to announce the emergency meeting tonight. Thaddeus, of course, welcomed MJ, Arrow, Agamemnon, and Alexi to the meeting.
Many in the pack had never seen a centaur. They knew of them because of the Louries but had never witnessed them. If they agreed to add Orion to the pack, they would see that after the ritual needed to become a part of the pack and tribe. Their reaction would be comically interesting.
Becoming One with the Pack . . .
The pack voted unanimously to have Orion become a member. A centaur beast added to a pack of wolves in their mind would make them unstoppable and envied among others. After the meeting, Orion’s father, aunt, cousin, and Arrow returned to Washington and Greece. The ritual to join a pack was a very private ritual and they respected that.
Tonight was the night that Orion Leventis became a member of his new family. He moved into his aunt’s home a week after the vote. The ritual was slated for two months after he settled into his new home so that he could get his bearings first. Since he’d been there, he’d received more love than he could almost handle.
As warned by Thaddeus, Farad, and Sebastian, Thaddeus’s spiritual advisor, the women in the pack and tribe took a special interest in him. More specifically, the single women took an interest. There was an increased desire to mate with a man that had a centaur beast. Some of the women were aggressive about letting him know that they wanted to fuck and suck him.It wasn’t something that he was not used to because of his experience with some centaurides.
The main house on the Louries’ land that he now lived in was massive. He offered to purchase the home, but Alexi declined. She did, however, let him know that he was free to build on their land if he wished. That was his plan after a year or two here. He wanted to make sure he wanted to reside on the reservation permanently before he committed to building. He would always be a member of the pack, but that did not require him to live on the reservation with many members in the pack. Members could reside anywhere.
It took the two months prior to the ritual to prepare for it. There were meetings to rehearse the ceremony a few nights a week. Orion spent a lot of his time overseeing the branches of his international marketing firm. The firm had branches spread out across the world in North Carolina, Texas, California, New York, Greece, and France. He chose to move to North Carolina to be close to the Raleigh office. He’d lived near the Greece and France offices, and now, he wanted to live in America.
Orion stared at himself in the mirror with his tribal robes on. This was really happening. After tonight, he would join a strong family. A hand slapped then gripped his shoulder.
“You ready for this, man?” Sebastian asked.
Since Orion had been there, he and Sebastian had developed a solid friendship. They were the same age and had a lot of the same values. Orion took a deep breath.
“Yeah, man. I think I was ready for this before I knew I wanted it.”
Sebastian was born into the pack, so he’d never had to go through this ritual. In the history of the pack, there were only two members that were not born into it. That was prior to Sebastian’s wolf emerging.
“I’m happy that you made the decision to join us because you didn’t have to. You had the option to just move into Mrs. Alexi’s home and let that be that.”
“Yeah, I could have, but what sense would that make? To be an outsider when there is a family that will accept you and your beast,” Orion pointed out. In Greece, he came from a closeknit family. It was a small family but close knit nonetheless.
This would be the first ceremony of its kind that Thaddeus led. He reached out to Arrow for guidance since Arrow had participated in the ceremony when his wife, Daanis, joined their pack. Thaddeus had no true reference outside of the written parts that must be included. When he asked the council, they weren’t much help either. Most chiefs remained the chief until death unless they stepped down because of illness, they voluntarily segregated, or they were forcibly segregated because of wrongdoing. With that said, it wasn’t as if there were chiefs of the tribe just sitting around to give advice.
Farad came into the room to let Orion know that it was time. The amount of pride in his chest was great. As a pack leader, he’d had a fair share of ups and downs. This was definitely one of the high ups. He never imagined this for the pack.
Thaddeus took a lot of the advice that was given to him from Arrow when it came to the ceremony. It was intimate like they normally were. The ceremony was only for the pack members, not the tribe. After a thirty-minute ceremony, Orion was officially a member. Even though he was a member, that did not grant him the gift of telepathy. That factor didn’t make a difference with his placement among them.
“Orion, are you ready to transform into your beast with us and take a nature stroll?” Farad asked. After he received confirmation, he let Orion know that he would not transform into his beast, so that he could keep the communication open.
They all moved to the respective cabins to disrobe. All of the members were eager to see Orion’s beast, but the women were more than eager. The mere thought of his beast made a lot of their pussies wet. Once everyone was out of the cabins, it was agreed that Orion shifted first. Farad and Thaddeus wanted Orion to hear everyone’s first impression of his beast. They as well as Sebastian had met his beast shortly after he moved to the reservation.
