She let go. Full-body quake. Legs shaking. Pillow screaming. And I didn’t stop. I chased her high and caught mine right after, burying my face in the curve of her neck, groaning low as I emptied everything into her.

When it was over, I cleaned her in the shower and oiled her down. I kissed the back of her neck and murmured, “Let’s keep building, baby. We just getting started.”

She moaned, eyes closed. “And you’re sure about coming to my city?”

I leaned in. “I told you I'm serious about everything.”

We walked into the open-air dining space and found the table already set—linen napkins, iced mimosas, fresh-squeezed juice, and two plates with a spread fit for royalty. Homemade banana pancakes with toasted pecans. A spinach, tomato, and goat cheese omelet folded softly and thickly. Maple chicken sausage links, seasoned roasted potatoes, and a bowl of fresh mango, pineapple, and kiwi.

Honey’s eyes lit up. “You had all this prepared?”

“Only for you.” I sat down across from her, watching her slice her pancakes.

She paused mid-bite, fork hanging in the air. “I’ve never had anything like this before. Thank you for… everything. Again.”

“You’re not just pretty with good ass pussy, Honey. You've got vision. Hustle. A good heart. I love that.”

Her cheeks flushed, and she pushed a piece of mango around on her plate. She nodded her head, but she was smiling now. Eyes soft, guarded still, but open. “What if it doesn’t work?” she asked quietly. “What if we’re good on the island, but not in real life?”

“Then we adapt. We communicate. We fuck, argue, make money, fuck again, level up, and keep it pushing.”

“Just like that?”

“Just like that, baby.”

The rest of brunch was easy. We laughed a little, touching knees under the table. We talked about our favorite parts of the trip and what we wanted the vibe of our business to feel like. We spoke about putting in the work to really hone in on our bond.

I told her to be prepared for babies, a wedding, and a house in whatever order God saw fit. Every word felt like a brick being laid slowly and deliberately. I planned on staying close enough to remind her every single day that her heart, her emotions, and her pussy were safe with me. She was mine.

After brunch, I gave Honey some space. I checked in with Callen and the rest of my team to make sure everything was in motion with our plans back in the States. After about thirtyminutes, I walked past the living room and heard her voice, low but firm, through the cracked door.

“No, we’re not pushing the new release back again,” she was saying. “The shelving company already confirmed delivery. The packaging is ready. Let’s keep it moving.”

I leaned on the doorframe and watched her. Legs crossed, eyes sharp, voice calm but commanding. She was wearing this olive green romper that hugged every damn curve like it was custom-made, and her curly hair was pulled up, diamond stud earrings shining. It was bad bitch, and don’t play with me all in one breath. I was stuck.

She sighed, rubbing her temples. “Just handle it,” she said, unmoving. “I gotta go.” Right then, her screen split as another woman popped into view. I stepped inside, hands in my pockets.

“Oh! Heyyy,” the girl on the screen smiled widely. “Is this Mr. Talk You Through it?”

Honey startled a little, glancing over her shoulder at me with a half-smile. “This is… um…”

I raised a brow and stepped closer behind her, hands on the back of her chair. “I’m Legend,” I said, voice smooth. “And you are?”

“I’m Tyrae. Best friend, slash her second favorite person in the world. Listen, I don’t play about her, so don’t fuck up.”

She was cute. Sharp mouth, quick wit. The type that watched all her girls’ moves and wasn’t afraid to check a nigga if he stepped wrong. I respected it. “I don’t plan to,” I told her plainly, my hand brushing Honey’s neck as I spoke. “I’m keeping her close. Personally and professionally.”

“Mmmhmm. We’ll see,” Tyrae smirked. “Nice to finally meet you, Legend.”

Honey rolled her eyes. “I’ll call when I touch down.”

“You better, bitch,” she laughed before signing off.

The screen went black, and Honey let out a breath. “You love letting people think you’re in control, huh?”

I leaned down, lips near her ear. “Ain’t no thinking about it, baby. I am in control.”

She tilted her head back to look at me. “You liked seeing me in my element, didn't you?”
