“Thank you, Amico Mio.” The amusement in Allesandro’s voice is as arousing as the danger.

I’m fucked in the head.

Pulling out my phone, as Allesandro inspects the toys in this room—and Cristian offers to get anything else he might want from the multitude of other rooms Ten has prepared—I text Daddy.

DOC

I need you to fuck James’s cum out of me later

DADDY

Are you allowed to make demands, Baby?

DOC

Please, Daddy? I need it

DADDY

I’ll give you what you deserve. Now, behave or James and I will take turns fucking you all night while you’re locked away…

Biting my lip, I’m almost tempted to push, becausefuck, that’s hot as hell. It’s the threat of being in a cage during theexperience that stays my hand. Fucking Daddy knows me too well, and made sure to let me know I definitely am not going to get what I want, only what he thinks I need. I’ll never admit that he probably knows what I need more than I do myself, as that’ll play right into his hands, and I can’t make things too easy for him.

James must be reading over my shoulder as he snorts and leans in to whisper, “Your Daddy has the best ideas, Ash. Sure you want to stay?”

I turn my head just enough to brush my lips against the corner of his mouth. “We’re staying.”

“As amusing as this is,” Allesandro says, “we have work to do. You’re free to leave. Or you can fuck here, but keep it down.”

I turn to look at him, expecting to see annoyance in his eyes, and while it’s clear, there’s humor, too. So at least he found a way around his outright hatred of me.

“I can wait. Sorry, Sir.”

He sniffs at my refusal to call him Padrone, but like hell will that word ever cross my lips. In my world, titles are earned, and sign of respect or not, different rules or not, I will never say the wordMaster…unless Daddy wants me to, of course.

Allesandro makes his way back over to Cristian, and he nods in agreement. “Excellent choice, Padrone.”

Cor seems to realize they’re not fucking around because he looks at me again. “You’re really in bed with these assholes? I knew you were nothing but a hack, Wescott, but really? This is the shit you’re into?”

I stare at him dispassionately. “You let some federal dickbag use you to clean up his work, butI’mthe hack?”

He rolls his eyes. “You’d know if you were actually part of the system, but the medical scene is fucked. Too many patients, not enough doctors, and only some hospitals with the funds to afford me.” He sneers. “I worked my ass off for the title of hospitaladministrator, but they gave it to some guy who didn’t even look old enough to drink, let alone run a hospital. Like hell was I going to stick around for that.”Too bad Sarah’s not here. She would blow his mind with the knowledge that she also holds that position.

“So, what? You decided to come back and work for some shady government assholes? Doesn’t sound like an upgrade to me. I’ve heard government pay is shit.”

He glowers. “You have no idea what I’ve been through, or who these fuckers,” he nods to Allesandro and Cristian, “really are. If you did, you wouldn’t be here helping them.”

I laugh as I slide off the table, and walk over to where he’s sitting. “Who do you think paid for my medical school? Who backed my clinic, and has supported me every step of the way? Not my parents. Unlike yours, they haven’t coddled me. You’ll either tell them what they want to know—like who you’re working for—or I will personally see to it that you’re kept alive for years, so they can torture you whenever they get bored.”

Fear finally seems to sink in, as the seriousness of my tone must get to him. Cor is an asshole, and not up to my or Dr. Ranlen’s level, but he’s not stupid. The path of least resistance is always going to be his first choice—he always was scared of hard work.

“I may or may not have taken up a side business to bring in extra cash. And well, some asshole, who definitely wasn't a cop, made me a deal when he saw where I was from.” He scowls. “He offered to make the charges go away if I helped him clean up the streets. I've seen what happens with the people you torture and kill. I've seen enough people die from gunshots and drug overdoses to know you need to be stopped.”

I scoff in disgust as Cristian and Allesandro laugh.

“If I'm understanding this correctly,” Allesandro says. “You stole and sold medications from the hospital you worked at, but you have the nerve to judge us for our business practices?”

“Those drugs are legal!” Cor snarls.
