“She’s fine,” he grumbles. “I was ordering a cake for one of my clients.”

“Uh, huh.”

He gives me a scathing look. “What’s,uh huh?And you can talk, you’ve been shacked up with Lexi all weekend in Lake Haven doing who knows what with Ali’s PA. Oops, did I say too much?”

I throw a pork rind at his head which he successfully dodges. “Very funny, and Dad already knows, and he’s cool with it, so go bah humbug somewhere else.”

“Dad, you’re okay with this?” Brad cocks his head. “Are there any other available women over at Archer Realty? Maybe we could make it a real family affair.”

“I could put a good word in for you,” I suggest. “But then again, you’re not exactly known as the suave Lucas in the family.”

Dad chuckles. “Do you two ever give it a rest?”

“Put in a good word for me?” Brad smirks. “Like I need any help inthatdepartment.”

“Ah yes, your inability to commit is legendary.” I give him a smug look, unable to hide my amusement. “You know, you could try dating one woman at a time, Brad, that way you’d not get anyone’s names muddled up.”

He shoves me in the shoulder with more force than I deem necessary. “That happened one time.”

“Your brother’s right. What happened to Ebony?” Dad turns his attention onto Brad. “Or was it Cassidy?”

“Britney.” Brad rolls his eyes. “I guess I just haven't found the right woman. Still, playing the field is something I can do for the both of us now. Thanks, bro.”

He’s a cocky little shit, I’ll give him that. “Nobody sticks around because you’re too fucking moody,” I throw back at him. “And they say women are bad, they’ve got nothing on you.”

“As long as your brother is treating women with respect, then that’s up to him. It’s hard finding the one woman that fills your heart with joy,” Dad says.

We both stare at him. I’m glad Dad found his happily ever after. He was a bachelor for so long, playing the field himself, but never really committing to anyone. Then Ali turned it all around.

“And when you do, you snap her up so nobody else can have her,” I finish. “Now, if you two don’t mind, I’ve got a girlfriend to go kiss the hell out of.”

“Ew,” Brad groans. “Please, no PDA in front of me, it’s bad enough with Dad and Ali.”

I slap my brother on the back. “One day you’ll find a woman who goes through you, without passing GO,” I sing. “I swear it’s in the water. The love bug is catching on.”

“Do not infect me with your drivel,” he calls after me. “I’m quite happy being single!” But all I can hear is Dad’s laughter.

“And she was fine with it—” Lexi says as I slide in and out of her. “I mean, I was pleased, to say the least, but I expected a little bit of push back, ooh?—”

I rolled my hips, thrusting at the end. “Could we not talk about my dad’s girlfriend while I’m buried inside you?”

“Oops,” she giggles.

I pull back and slap her ass. Taking her from behind is sending me insane. She’s an apparition. Her sexy ass in the air only spurs me to take her harder, faster.

Being away from her for twenty-four hours has felt like hell. I miss her and Mr. Snuggles — we’ve grown quite fond of each other since we got up close and personal at the cabin.

I did get a call right after the cupcake delivery from Alison, giving us her blessing. I know it’s set Lexi’s mind at ease, but I wasn’t worried one bit.

Loving her is worth any fall out.

“Jesus, you’re so tight.”

“That feels so good,Sir,” she groans. Her hands tighten on the bedpost, my tie binding them together. I seriously want to explore her tying me up, but that will have to wait.

Whatever she wants, I’m happy to give.

“Youfeel fucking fantastic.”
