Noah slowly released his grip, and Theo gasped for air.
Spit dripped down his chin, probably on Noah’s hands.
The fuzzy edges of his vision were fuckingvibrating.
But Noah was staring at him with this wild,manicexcitement, and he couldn’t get the goosebumps to calm down.
Someone slapped the door, and Theo jerked, pulling his gaze away.
The PA crackled back to life.
“And this is our final call for players who may have fallen asleep or simply forgot they were playing!” Decker sang out, the feedback bouncing around his head. “We’ll be locking the front doors in ten minutes, so please head to your cars, and we’ll see you tomorrow.”
He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. Still couldn’t breathe right.
Couldn’t think straight.
This wasn’t supposed to happen.
But damn, it felt good.
I think I’m addicted to the way he looks at me. Even when he’s angry—especially when he’s angry—glaring like I’m the villain in his story. Like he wants to destroy me and drag me down with him.
Jesus, it’s hot.
It’s mine.
I want to be the only one he sees when he’s pissed.
When he’s tired.
When he’s laughing.
When he’s falling asleep with his guard down and those lashes flutter against his cheeks like he’s just a guy and not... everything.
I want every look.
I want to know them better than he does.
And I will.
The quiet was weird. Strained. Hanging in the air like it was supposed to be filled words or at least some fuckingnoise.
Theo fumbled with his pants, his hand sticky. There wasn’t anything to wipe it on except his shirt. Kinda gross.
Noah didn’t say a damn word.
When Noah finally placed the glasses back on Theo’s face, he relaxed a little. One less thing to worry about,andthey weren’t damaged. Thank god.
He adjusted the frames so they sat right and shoved his hair behind his ears.
“Don’t pull that shit again,” Theo muttered.
“Which part?”
Theo rolled his eyes and looked over.
Noah’s annoying ass smirk and tan face were enough to regret every second of whatever the fuck just happened.
