Like the little asshole he was, Adam smiled innocently at me as he picked up my discarded panties and pulled them back onme. "Don't worry, you don't have to sit through the whole thing. Just eat, finish at whatever pace you want, and then I'll take you to our room." Even though he had a kind smile on his face, his tone inferred something much different.

This night has barely started. This fucking just now was only the damn appetizer. I've yet to have the main course and dessert. Correction: Adam's yet to have me for the main course and dessert. Yeah, I was the fucking feast, and he was the starved beast to devour me.

Fuck me.

And make that fuck me a double because if I had known he had guests over, then I would have tried my damn best to keep my mouth shut or keep my voice down. God, it was so fucking awkward to walk out—correction, to be carried out—to two snickering men in the living room. No doubt in my mind they heard me and pieced things together. It was even more awkward to sit around a dinner table with everyone having idle chit-chat with toys shoved up my pussy and ass. At least Adam was merciful enough to turn the toys down to the lowest setting.

Tsk, as if it's any help…

Also, at least I didn't have to worry about feeding Asher because Adam and his buddies took turns with making sure my son had his fill of food.

"Eliza, are you okay? Or was Adam a little too mean to you in there?" Max teased me with a cheeky grin and snicker, his hand still mindlessly waving Asher's toy before him.

Sinking into my chair in embarrassment, I glanced over at Adam for some help as I sat there red as a cherry. Thankfully, he didn't let me suffer much. "Alright, knock it off. I don't go teasing you and your girl, so leave her alone to finish dinner in peace." He chided his friend while hiding his smug smirk.

Rowan leaned over to Max, nudging his arm with an elbow. "Cause it's the only peace she's gonna get tonight." I faintlyheard him snicker to his cousin, who sputtered out a laugh that he quickly covered up with a cough.

Someone kill me right now.

I silently begged the high heavens to save me from the tragedy as I scarfed down the last bites of my food. Although, speaking of my food… I gnawed on the prongs of my fork a little as I stared at the empty plate. I was full but not stuffed like usual. If I really thought hard about it, I could've sworn there was less on my plate today. Unless I've gotten used to him upping my portions again, which I doubted.

"Finish your drink, mia rosa," Adam commanded me, drifting his eyes over to the half-finished glass of juice sitting before me.

Down turning my eyes, I picked up the glass and downed the rest of it before looking back up at Adam for some help. Like hell would I march my ass to bed with vibrators up my holes. I probably won't be able to make it two full steps without needing to lean on something for support or full-on crumpling to the floor in a trembling mess.

Adam's eyes softened in a silent praise, making my lips curl in a happy smile. Keeping quiet, I watched him get up and go over to me. "I'll be right back. I just need to get her settled into bed because she's had a long day." I assumed his words were meant for the others, even if he didn't look directly at them when he spoke.

"I thought her long day err night barely started," Max joked with a quick laugh, earning a pointed look from Adam.

Without a reply to his friends, Adam swiftly picked me up in his arms. Chuckling, he looked at Asher and called out to him. "Asher, say good night to mommy," he told the toddler in a soft and baby like voice.

Asher's head peeped up at us, his little toothy smile spreading wide as he waved at us. "Nigh nigh!" Yeah, that wasas good as we would get from him for now, but it was more than adorable. "Mama!" he called out after us, making Adam stop mid-step so we could both look at Asher.

As loudly as possible, Asher blew us a kiss with a huge grin. Then, he went back to his toys on the tray of his high chair as if we didn't exist—typical Asher.

Rolling my eyes, I lightly patted Adam's chest to urge him back to the task at hand. "Are you going to get him to bed in a bit?" I questioned with a tilt of my head.

His body trembled with his soft chuckle as he kissed my head. "Yeah, I'll get him down after I get you situated," Adam assured me with a warm smile. "The others will take care of him in the meanwhile."

Melting into him with a content hum, I admired him through my lashes with obsessed eyes. "Thank you," I muttered through my big and grateful smile.

"For?" It was adorable how genuinely confused he was.

Keeping my appreciative smile, I stared at him adoring for a few seconds before replying, "For everything, especially when it comes to Asher." I still didn't know what to do about that whole subject. "I know you said you're fine with him calling you 'dada' and all, but…"

Was I comfortable with it? I don't know. I truly didn't know. I couldn't work out that mess in my mind without throwing myself down into a spiral.

It was cute and sweet that Asher saw Adam as his father, and it was even more damning and heart-melting how Adam was fully excepting of Asher and wanted to take on that role in Asher's life.

Honestly, if my left wasn't such a fucking mess, then I'd have no issues with it. If James didn't exist or if we had actually divorced and he left me the fuck alone, then it wouldn't be a problem either. Too bad my life wasn't that simple.

"Eliza darling, if you aren't fine with it, then please let me know so we can start correcting Asher sooner rather than later." Adam was so understanding, and that made my frustration fester more. "As much as I love Asher and want to be in his life in a bigger capacity than his mother's lover, you are his mother, so you have the final say."

God damn you, you fucking perfect asshole! Ugh! I gotta punch you in your handsome face to make some part of you unlovable!

Clenching my jaw, I held my anger in as I let out a deep breath. "I don't have a problem with you wanting to be more to Asher, and if I'm being honest, I want that…" My voice trailed out with my train of thought.

"But?" Adam urged with a curious and concerned voice as he carried me across the threshold of our room.
