Scooping her out of my lap, Michael sat her down in his lap and stroked her head as he laughed. "She likes giving kisses. Daddy says it's her way of saying hello. I asked Daddy for a bear or a wolf cub, but he said they're dangerous, which everyone knows isn't true in the slightest."

"Sure is," uncle John interrupted.

"Agree to disagree," Michael replied before turning to me. "Anyways, I love Princess just the same. I named her Princess because I treat her like one."

Joining my hands, I turned to Daddy who was watching us with amusement. "Can I get a puppy too, Daddy? I take good care. Promise!"

I lowered my chin and looked up at him with big eyes, fluttering my eyelashes just like Michael had done moments before. It made Daddy laugh, so I hoped I was pulling it off.

"Dogs are a big responsibility, sweetheart." Daddy stroked my head before kissing it. "I'll see how responsible you are around the house. If you're good, I'll get you one. By the way, I'm so proud of you for being so nice to Michael. Didn't I say you'll make good friends and there's no reason to be worried?"

I smiled up at him brightly. "I'm glad I trusted you, Daddy. You're always right and you always know what's best for me."

I couldn't believe how easily I had become comfortable around Michael. It happened so naturally, I didn’t even realize it. It was probably because Littles were so easy to talk to. You didn't have to worry about being judged or saying the wrong thing.

Michael and I chatted excitedly about our favorite animals while our Daddies had a grown-up conversation we were too regressed to pay attention to. Soon Daddy kissed me goodbye and left, saying he'll be back before I knew it. I was so excited to play with Michael, I didn't mind spending some time without Daddy.

"Before you start playing with your toys," uncle John said as he closed the front door. "Who here needs a diaper change?"

Michael put up both his hands as he giggled, turning to me with a proud smile. "I potty trained myself years ago, but I still like to wear diapers because they make me feel little. They also feel so good against my skin."

"Same," I said, popping the binky into my mouth and talking from the corner of my lips. "Today's the first time I've tried diapers and I love them. I don't plan on using them, but they feel so good."

When Michael was carried to the changing room in his Daddies' arms, I waited in the living room petting Princess and Doggo. I had just met Michael, but we had so much in common. I couldn't believe how swiftly my life had changed in a matter of weeks. Weeks ago, if someone had told me I would be living my dream life and have a Daddy of my own, I wouldn't have believed it. But that's how big decisions changed lives. You couldn’t just stay in your comfort zone and expect life to get better or happier. Running away was the only option back then, but it was turning out to be the best decision of my life.

Chapter 8: Clark

When I returned to John's place, I saw Jenna rubbing her eyes and yawning. They must've played so hard they had tired themselves out. But the moment she saw me, drowsiness turned to excitement and her face lit up.

"Daddy, you're back!"

Running towards me, she jumped into my arms and wrapped her legs around my waist, Doggo still in one hand. Rubbing her face against my shirt, she took in my scent and let out a sigh of relief. John patted her back as Michael walked towards us.

"We behaved like you asked us to, uncle Clark," Michael said with a wolf stuffie in his hand. "I might not get ice cream for dinner, but Jenna sure deserves a treat for keeping me out of trouble. I came up with several plans to be naughty and get us in trouble, but she wanted to be a good girl for her Daddy."

"Is that true, sweetheart?" I looked down at her and found her smiling back at me.

John nodded in approval. "Honestly, she's the sweetest and well-behaved girl I've ever met. My boy sure can learn a thing or two. She'll be such a good influence on him. I barely had to watch over them."

Jenna's chest swelled with pride as I kissed her head.

"I'm proud of you, Little one. Good behavior always gets rewarded."

"I'm proud of you too, darling." John gave his boy a quick peck on the lips. "You can have ice cream for dinner, but let's not make a habit of it. Too much sugar leads to rotten teeth for little boys."

Michael did a happy little dance where he stood. He then gave Jenna a goodbye hug before proceeding to make their stuffies hug each other.

"I'll miss you, Michael." She adorably pushed her lower lip out in a pout. "I hope we can play together soon."

I found it amusing how merely hours ago she was scared to death of meeting a stranger, and yet now she wanted to play with him a little longer. I knew leaving her alone with another Little would pay off.

"Yup, there's a lot of playdates to look forward to." I stroked her hair and carried her out the front door as she waved John goodbye.

When we took our seats in the car, she moved over to sit in my lap. I wanted to wait till we got home, but looked like it was time to tell her how important today was.

"I know you had to go through extreme discomfort and fear, but I hope you can see why I did it. Sometimes a Daddy needs to give you what you need instead of what you want. You need to make friends for your social well-being."

"You did the right thing, Daddy," she said as she wiggled in my lap, the semi in my pants growing by the second. "I had such a great time today, I'm glad I trusted you over my irrational fears. I understand you had to leave me alone so I can begin to trust strangers. But I missed you so bad! Don't ever leave me, Daddy. I knew I was being paranoid, but I was scared you wouldn't come back to get me. I'm so needy it would scare anyone away."
