The restaurant is half full at this time of day and I see the smiling faces of my friends when I approach the huge table they've commandeered for themselves. They quickly make a space for me and I sit down, avoiding everyone's eyes.
"Louise Jones, spill it." Sam says.
"Um, I don't know what you're talking about."
"SPILL IT." They all shout in unison, startling the other patrons in the restaurant.
"Alright, alright. I have a very handsome tour guide."
"And what exactly is he guiding you to do?" Shelley says.
"You all have dirty minds."
"You think we don't know what you write? Please!" Jennie says.
I signal the server and she comes over to our table. I order a drink and a snack and sit back while all around there's mumbling and grumbling.
"So you're going to make us beg?"
"There's nothing to say. We just fooled around a little bit."
"Are you going to take it to the next level?"
"I'm not sure yet. He's coming to my suite tonight."
"I think you should fuck his brains out. He's one hot tour guide." Sam says.
She doesn't know it, but that's exactly what I hope to do this evening in my suite. Dominic has me so turned on that I had to get myself off once again before coming downstairs.
"So tell us about him."
I don't think my face could be any redder if I tried. I've just realized that I really haven't asked him about anything personal. All the conversations have been about me. Is he hiding something, or have I just been monopolizing the conversation all this time?
"Um."
"Look at her face. She's blushing. Lulu are you planning on having sex with a complete stranger?"
"He's not a complete stranger. I spent several hours with him yesterday and today. He's just been showing me around and entertaining me like a proper tour guide does."
"Where did you find him, anyway?"
"The recreation desk."
"How much are these private tours he's been giving you?"
"He's not charging me."
Oops, I shouldn't have said that. Everyone goes quiet and they just stare at me like I'm a monster.
"Lulu, he's going to lose his job."
"He said he wanted to do this for me. That I should trust him."
"Maybe you should ask about him at the front desk. Get more information."
Jennie is a worrier, but now that I realize where I've gone wrong, I know that I have to find out more about the man that I'm letting into my suite tonight. When more of my friends chime in, I tell them I will do my due diligence.
I spend some time with my friends, but inside I'm impatient to go searching for answers. Is Dominic too good to be true? Am I making a mistake? I hate feeling insecure like this and as soon as we finish having our chats I run to the front desk to ask some questions.
