Presley:I DESPISE that she kisses back.
Presley:gag gag gag
Brock:
Presley:I take it back.
Presley:You’re no longer my bestie.
Presley:We’re going to be in the same city next week.
Presley:For the first time since June!
Presley:A Brock and Presley Book Club reunion. It’s going to be epic.
Brock:TBH I’m trying to temper my expectations for my weekend in LA.
Presley:I wish I could reassure you in some way, but you are coming to play my team and I know we’re going to win.
Brock:You’re still mad about the fan art picture I sent, aren’t you.
Presley:I’ve forgiven you, Brock Hunter. Doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten.
Presley:I wish you had time for dinner. It would be so fun to hang out. I found this quirky tavern-style restaurant in East Hollywood that’s exactly what I imagine the Broken Crown looks like.
Presley:I’m sure you’re hurrying back to spend Thanksgiving with your mom.
Brock:Kurtis surprised her with a ski trip to Breckenridge since I was going to be out of town and couldn’t get back to Denver until late.
Brock:I’m doing Thanksgiving dinner with Lincoln and Layla.
Presley:Jealous. I’ve heard that dinner’s going to be bussin.
Brock:Yeah, especially for me after I lose to those guys.
Presley:With Mila coming, I bet the pie will be worth it.
Brock:The only reason I’m going.
Brock:You should come too. You know they would all love it.
Presley:Are you explaining to my mom why I’m ditching her to celebrate a holiday with the guys I work with all the time?
Brock:You say that in a way that makes it seem like I should be afraid of her when we both know how nice she is.
Presley:It’s the nice ones you have to worry about.
Presley:But text me if you want to hang out after.
Brock:I’m starting to question why all my friends are associated with the Rays.
Presley:It really says something about you.
