She chuckled as Isaiah flipped her onto her back and pinned her hands to prevent her from stripping him.
“Absolutely not,” he said, tossing aside his shorts while she slipped off her PJs. He inhaled sharply, taking in the sight ofher all flushed for him. He wanted to take his time and savour every moment, but he’d take everything she was willing to give. It didn’t matter how much time they had. All that mattered was her.
She moved to the edge of the bed, rising to her knees and placing her hands on his chest. “Enjoying the view? Or are you going to do something about it,” she teased.
“Don’t test me, Princess,” he growled.
“Or what?” She bit his lip as she kissed him, and he gripped her thighs and tossed her back on the bed. He loved how confident she was.
She squirmed and arched her back as he kissed every inch of her body, begging for more. She pulled down his boxers and wrapped her fist around him, making his eyes roll back in his head, but if she was going to tease, he was going to make her beg. He smiled wickedly as he sank between her knees and kissed the dips in her hips, sliding her underwear down her thighs. Tremors of pleasure took over her body as he tasted how ready she was for him; he held her thighs tight to stop her from trying to hide from him. Her hands slid up over the back of his neck and into his hair, gripping tight as she panted.
He didn’t let up until Poppy arched her back and cried out in sheer ecstasy. His heart pounded as he trailed his lips over her stomach, savouring every quiver as she came down until her lips found his, seeking, demanding more. He was more than happy to oblige.
“I can’t take much more, Poppy,” he groaned as she wrapped her legs around his waist. “Are you sure?”
“I’ve never wanted anything more,” she rasped, brushing her lips against his.
Isaiah reached into the bedside table and removed the complimentary condoms. Ripping open the packet, he nearly lost control as she helped him ease it over him. A feral groanescaped him as he filled every inch of her. She rolled her hips, taking all of him. Teeth clashed, tongues twisted, and her hands gripped his hair, his shoulders, her nails dragging so ferociously down his back that he was sure he’d have marks tomorrow. She moaned and sighed against his lips, and with every thrust, he felt her tightening around him. He was so damn close. He wanted to drag it out forever, but neither could wait that long. He thrust wildly as she dug her nails into his hips, begging for more.
Her body took all he had to give, ruining him. Arms around each other, they rode wave after wave of ecstasy. Every muscle in his body tightened, and tremors overtook him until he had nothing left to give but a low groan into her neck. They melted into each other in a collection of satisfied, heavy breaths; he didn’t want the moment to end. Lying by his side, tucked under his arm, she stared at him with satisfied eyes.
“Next time, you won’t be able to escape me so quickly,” he said, rolling onto his side as she caught her breath. “I don’t care if it’s God himself waiting on you.”
“I’m counting on it,” she said before he kissed her long and hard, wanting her to remember the taste of him for the rest of the day.
Isaiah showered while Poppy slipped on her purple one-piece swimsuit. Unable to stop himself, he tried to get her to join him but she tiptoed out of reach and away from the spray of the water.
“Nice try, but Mina’s waiting for me to go to the pool. I’m late enough, thanks to you, and I don’t want her to think I’ve forgotten about her. She was freaked out enough hearing about what happened with Joshua last night,” Poppy said, tying a matching sarong around those hips he would never get enough of.
“I’ll join you; give me a minute,” he said, not wanting to leave them unprotected.
“Are you kidding? You should stay out of the sun. We’ll be fine in the crowd.” Poppy chuckled. “I don’t want to stay indoors all day, and you’re already a nice shade of red. How about we compromise? Mina and I will lounge for a bit, and then I’ll meet you later in the shade. I promised Mina a holiday, and so far it’s been murder and mayhem. I think she needs some girl time, and so do I. I can’t gossip about the hunky man in my bed if he’s right beside me.”
“Fine, but only because they’ve increased security on the outer decks, and you aren’t to go anywhere alone,” he instructed.
A loud bang on the adjoining door made Poppy jump.
“Are you finished screwing each other’s brains out? We’re burning daylight, and you promised me cocktails and sun,” Mina shouted through the door.
Isaiah enjoyed how Poppy flushed at being overheard. They hadn’t exactly been quiet, and he’d forgotten about Mina being so close.
He gave in reluctantly to her plan. After all they had discussed last night, he trusted her and knew she could handle herself.
“Got your bracelet?” he asked as Poppy lingered at the bathroom door.
She waved itat him. “Don’t worry; I’ve no desire to wander off.”
“Okay, I’ll see you later.”
She saluted him. “Yes, sir, and don’t forget to reapply the lotion when you get out.”
“That’s your job.” He winked, and she rolled her eyes.
When he’d heard them leave, he turned off the shower and got dressed. With Mina and Poppy out enjoying themselves, he didn’t want to waste any time.
Isaiah followedthe STAFF ONLY signs to the galley, nearly running into two waiters smoking outside the canteen’s open door. He paused at the next door to listen in on their conversation. There was no better place to catch up on gossip than the smoking area.
“Sorry I couldn’t help you at the bar last night. I had to help security get a guy out of a jacuzzi,” one of them said, his husky voice sounding like he smoked multiple packs daily.
