“Do. Not. Monking. Stop.” She said each word as their own sentence.

With a grin on his face, he did as she demanded. By the time he felt the tingle in his lower back, and his balls start to scrunch up, both of them were drenched in sweat. It ran down his face, chest, and back. He could see the beads of moisture on Lorna’s back. Knowing he was about to lose it, he reached between them and pinched her clit. When he’d been pleasuring her with his tongue, he’d given her two orgasms. Since he started having sex with her, she’d had two more. Now he wanted her to cum when he did.

“Now, Princess, cum with me,” he said in her ear. When he felt her inner muscles tighten, he smiled against her hair, and continued for half a dozen strokes, before he let his release go. When he was done, he fell on top of her. He knew he was crushing her, but for the life of him, he couldn’t move. It wasn’t until, Lorna started to get up, that he rolled over. With their legs still entwined, he reached over and put his hand on her. Something about this woman, he wanted to constantly touch.

The next time he opened his eyes he jerked up and looked around wildly. Still naked, he rushed to the bathroom to clean up the mess from the condom he’d failed to remove earlier. Instead of washing in the sink, he jumped into the shower. He hadn’t seen Lorna when he’d woken, but wanted to clean up before he saw her again. With a towel wrapped around his hips, he went in search of her.

“Son of a bitch.” He shook his head when he found a note propped up on the clean counter. When they’d gone to the bedroom, their dinner had still been in a pan on the stove. According to the note, Lorna had cleaned up the mess, loaded the dishwasher, and put the food away, but not before admitting that she’d rifled through his cupboards for a container to take some of the goulash home with her.

Andy grinned when he realized she’d said she’d return it when she was done with it. Knowing he’d see her again sometime, and they could always see each other out on the patio, Andy made his way back to his room. At the sight of his bed, he had a sappy smile on his face when he remembered what had occurred there. Because they had both worked up a sweat, and there were dried spots on the sheets, he stripped his bed and took them to the washer. After starting a load, he put fresh sheets on, then dressed in boxers and shorts. Unable to sleep, he went to his office and dug out the files he’d thrown in a drawer earlier.

He began writing up notes from what little Lorna had said earlier. According to what she had told him, Lorna was an only child, and the information Marvin had that his daughter had psychological problems, and had needed rehabilitation was total bunk. Deciding to reread the documents given to him by Marvin with a fine-tooth comb, he settled in to get some work done. Several hours later, he had a list of things he needed to check out. It was almost midnight, so he decided to call it a night, but not before switching his sheets to the dryer.

When he laid his head on the pillow, he was exhausted, but that didn’t stop his mind from going back to what he and his sexy neighbor had done earlier. With a smile on his face, he fell asleep with visions of those activities happening again real soon.

Chapter 8

“Lorna, how are you doing on the aquarium fundraiser?” Finn asked from the doorway to Lorna’s new office. With a start, she whipped around and felt her cheeks heat.

“Sorry, I was woolgathering. What did you say?”

“How are you doing on the aquarium fundraiser. I know it’s still six weeks away, but you know how I like to keep abreast of these things.”

“Oh, actually it’s five weeks away. I’ve sent the invitations, and I have appointments with the caterers this week.”

“What type of food will you be serving?” Finn invited himself in, and took a seat before her desk. “Tell me what’s different from the one we gave them five years ago.”

“Well, the previous fundraiser was a black tie, sit-down dinner at a swanky ballroom in a hotel in downtown Helena.”

“Why?” Finn reared back as if Lorna had slapped him. “Helena is three hours away. The aquarium in need of funds is twelve blocks away. Why go all the way there?”

“In a nutshell, it was because Janis and Simon were responsible for co-chairing it. Their tastes ran in the high end, and I’m not being a snob here, but they only catered the previous fundraisers to the rich and famous. Please, don’t take any offense, but to people like your grandfather, or people of his ilk, they believed the richer the clientele the more money they would bring in. Their event had a thousand-dollar plate sit-down dinner. With only one option.”

“Let me guess,” Finn sneered. “Dry chicken.”

“You got it.” Lorna laughed. She pulled a file and opened it. After she turned it toward Finn, she used her pen to point out several differences for this event. “I’ll be meeting with the caterer tomorrow, and this is what I want to happen. First, the fundraiser will be at the aquarium. The director and board of trustees will be on hand to answer any questions the attendees may have about what they do, and where they want to take it to the next level.”

“That’s good, let the patrons get the information from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.”

“Exactly. Last time, those people weren’t invited to the event.”

“Do you recall how much money was raised?”

“Around a hundred grand.”

“That’s it?”

“Yes, only a hundred people attended.”

“How many invitations did you send out?”

“Seven hundred, but I didn’t send them to just the elitists. I sent them to everyone. Remember Norm?”

“Yes, you sent an invitation to him?”

“And all his friends, as well as the Pennyworths, and Mr. Marvin and his cronies. Oh, I sent the invitations to everyone Janis and Simon sent them to, but I also added names.”
