I’ve only ever uttered those three words to my family, and somehow, in less than a month and a half, I find myself wanting to say them to Cassie.

I told myself, I was going to work on myself.

And I meant it.

So that when I found my one, I’d be ready for her.

I wasn’t lying.

I realized she was my endgame when she smiled at me.
