He huffs out a laugh, whispering back, “I thought for a second that I had forgotten the rings.”

I squeeze his hand, saying nothing else as the wedding coordinator comes towards us, a wide smile on her face.

“Hello, welcome! You must be Trey and Rebecca.”

After exchanging pleasantries and showing our identification, she leads us to a beautiful courtyard. A small aisle runs up the center, rows of chairs facing an arch bursting with white roses and gardenias. Candles line the aisle, and uplights are mixed into the topiary lining the circular yard. It all lends a very romantic feel.

The officiant stands under the arch waiting for us, as Take That’sGreatest Daybegins to play. Trey smiles down at me, his eyes happy and excitement written across his face. Placing my hand on his arm, he whispers, “Ready?”

Nodding, we set out onto the aisle, stopping before the officiant. I can’t say I’m overly fond of the way he’s dressed; his hair is sticking up and he’s got a strange-looking bejeweled outfit on. Shrugging internally at the complexities of humanity’s different fashion tastes, I make sure to pay attention as he begins.

My hands are engulfed in Trey’s large ones, and as the officiant drones on, I find myself lost in his eyes. Tears prick in the corners of my eyes, and my chest tightens as the officiant speaks.

“And would you like standard vows, or do you have your own?” the officiant asks.

“Our own,” Trey replies.

Oh, fuck! Panic wells in my breast as I subtly freak out. Trey never mentioned this part! What the fuck do I say? Trey squeezes my fingers as I let out a shaky breath and mouths “it’s okay” to me. I nod back, and he begins.

“Rebecca, it may have only been a short time since we met, but I have searched for you my entire life. The second I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special, and every moment since has only confirmed that you are the one. The only one I want to share my life with, the only one I will ever love. Your soul is entwined with mine; one lifetime with you will never be enough. When this life is over, my soul will follow yours, and it will be my greatest joy to find you over and over again, to love you through every lifetime. I promise to stand by you, support you, comfort you, and protect you through all of the days of our lives.”

Tears pour down my cheeks at his words, and my hand shakes as he lifts it, placing the thin diamond-encrusted platinum band on my finger. Raising my hand to his mouth, he places a kiss on it, the truth of his feelings written plain as day across his face.

Giving him a tremulous smile, I take his hand—the words spilling forth without thought. “Trey, you came into my life at a time when I most needed you. From the start, you understood me, saw me. You’ve listened and supported and cared for me. Took my pain and transformed it into something new.” Looking deeply into his eyes, I want him to truly hear what I’m going to say next. He’s been waiting so patiently. “I love you, Trey Williams. You are no longer The Unseen, for I see you. You are my heart, my love, my life. I promise to show you every day how much you mean to me.”

Placing the black titanium ring on Trey’s finger, his hands close around mine, his eyes watery as the biggest grin stretches wide across his face.

“By the power vested in me by the great state of Nevada, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride. Thank you, thank you very much. Uh huh.”

Before the officiant even stops speaking, Trey swoops me into his arms and crashes his lips to mine in a kiss to end all kisses.

Staring at myself in the bathroom mirror, I smooth down the white lace and silk negligée. Pulling the jeweled clips from my hair, I shake it loose, scrunching the curls into a bedhead look as my heart thumps painfully in my chest.

Why am I feeling nervous? I’m hardly a stranger to sex.But it’s your first time as a wife.Still, it’s not like my hymen grew back or anything.

Trey did everything he could to make today special, and I love him even more for it. I couldn’t have asked for a more magical day. After the ceremony, the limo brought us back to the hotel. After changing into a more appropriate dress, Trey whisked me into the hotel’s Spago restaurant, with a table booked in front of the fountains. The food was exquisite, and the fountain show spectacular.

We toured the art gallery, then retired to one of the lounges for a few drinks. Trey has hardly been able to keep his hands off me all day; whether by little touches or holding hands, and I know he’s held back from dragging me back to our room to fuck me senseless simply so that I could have a day to remember.

Swirling some mouthwash around my mouth, I spit it out and dab my mouth dry as a knock sounds on the bathroom door.

“You okay in there?”

Instead of replying, I open the door, enjoying the look on his face when he sees what I’m wearing. Leaning up, I push his jaw shut, pretending to wipe away drool. His eyes turn heated as they drag over my body, causing a frisson of lust to settle deep in my belly.

Licking his lips, he steps forward, then scoops me into his arms as a laugh spills out of me. Tossing me on the bed, I bounce once then lay there, watching as he rips his clothes off with record speed.

“Damn, baby, you look so hot. Where the fuck did you get that?”

“When you left me at the spa. I ran into one of the stores quickly and had them charge it to the room. I hope you don’t mind.”

Trey barks a laugh. “Mind? When you look like that? Never.”

He stands at the foot of the bed in all his naked glory—scars and all. His broad chest tapers down to a trim waist, his thick cock standing long and proud against his belly. Leaning over, he grabs my ankles, sliding me closer to him, and then kneels, kissing the soles of my feet.

Looking up at me watching him, his eyes turn to wonder as he says, “Mine. My wife.” And then the wonder turns predatory as he precedes to lick and kiss every inch of my feet, before working up my legs.Sliding the negligée up, the soft silk slides sensuously over my hips, exposing my core.
