His fingers slow down, moving like molasses inside of me, and I can hear the squidgy sound echo around us even with the music playing softly. My body shakes with the aftershocks of my mind blowing orgasm, his words managing to break through the fogginess.

“That was beautiful, baby; you did so well.”

I move to look at him, feeling as if I need to repay him, but when my phone slides across the table with Justyce’s name blaring across it, I jump up, his fingers slipping out easily with how wet I am.

“Shit!”

Justyce doesn’t call this late unless there is an emergency. I snatch my stuff off the table, quickly zip up my catsuit as best as I can, and turn to walk away.

“Where are you going?”

I spin around upon hearing Gabe’s voice and wince when I see the disapproval written all over his face. His dark eyes are assessing and judging, and it’s not something I have time for.

“I need to go. I’ll see you around,” I add lamely and scoot out of the booth. He doesn’t try to stop me which plants an uncomfortable feeling inside of me.

I move through the bodies around me, sending a quick message to Dallas, asking him to pick me up. My mind is spiraling, and I can’t help but wonder what the fuck has Justyce calling me so late.

When I exit the club, a deep exhale leaves my lips, and I dial Justyce’s number. It only rings once before he answers.

“Where the fuck are you, Raine?”

“About half an hour away. Why, what’s up?”

“Get to my place now,” he demands, then hangs up.

I pull the phone away from my ear and look down at what I’m wearing, grimacing when I see the red catsuit and knowing I have a rip in my crotch that the zip can’t hide.

I walk out through the gates and see Dallas pull up at the curb, and I motion for him to stay inside. I don’t need him to see the train wreck I currently am.

“Justyce’s,” I sing out before he can ask, hating the fact I haven’t got time to get changed into something else.

Looks like I better keep my legs closed for this meeting. Fucking great.

Chapter17

Raine

We arrive at Justyce’s twenty five-minutes later, and I look longingly at my house as we pass, wishing I had time to change out of this fucking catsuit.

I thank Dallas, run up the steps, and let myself in. Rounding the corner to the wet bar, I pull up abruptly when I see Arrow slumped on the couch with a cigarette hanging from his lips and a drink in his hand.

As if sensing my arrival, his face lifts from looking down at his phone and moves over my body before reaching my eyes again.

The lust I’m so used to seeing is devoid…untraceable. Instead, his pretty cognac hues are hollow; there’s nothing within them, and I know he’s checked out. The sweet boy that I grew up following around, the man who knows all of my hidden truths; — hell, he’s my best fucking friend, and he looks at me now with… nothing.

“Did we interrupt you, Raine? Could have at least changed out of your skank wear; can smell the sex from here,” he scoffs, and I feel the stab like a blade to my heart.

I rub at it absent-mindedly, my eyes moving to Acheron’s and then Justyce's, waiting for one of them to say something.

Surprising me further, Acheron speaks, his words taunting. “Jealous she isn’t riding your dick any more, brother? Sounds to me like that’s ayouproblem, not a Raine problem.”

Arrow jolts out of his seat, his face in Acheron's in seconds. “You fucking her, that why, huh?”

Acheron chuckles, his eyes darting to mine before fixing on Arrow’s. “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

“You motherfucker,” Arrow roars, cocking his hand back to hit Acheron, but Justyce intervenes, wrapping his hand around Arrow’s.

“I swear I’m surrounded by fucking children. Pull your fucking heads in, the pair of you!” he commands, his eyes flicking between them.
