I say nothing, but I pick my phone up off the table and begin typing.

Genny! I would LOVE to help,
I’ll be on the next flight home
tomorrow morning and we
can start working on it!
“See! I told you she would want to help!” Eloise exclaims, reading the text over my shoulder.
Thank you, Mom. Seriously. I’ll
be at the house when you get
home.
Lovely. Call me tonight when
you get home from school. I
miss you too much to wait
another day.
Are you sure it won’t be too late
there? I don’t want to wake you.
Depending on when you call it
might be a little late, but more
than likely you’ll catch me on
