“Here you go again. When are you gon’ stop bringing that up?”
“I don’t know. You broke my heart a little ghosting me like that.”
“Seriously, Eli. Don’t make me feel bad.”
“I’m just being honest. On top of that, you never called me. You had me out here questioning my whole existence.”
“Whatever. I don’t believe that, but my bad about ghosting you and not calling you.”
“Was last night and this morning your way of apologizing?”
“Maybe.”
“If so, that wasn’t enough. Some morning, well, afternoon head would seal the deal.”
“Is that all?” I nodded. “I gotchu.”
Her head disappeared under the sheet, and she damn near sucked the skin off my dick. At some point, we needed to have a serious conversation about us, but this apology head was good for now.

“Am I keeping you from anything or anyone?” Elias asked.
We’d been locked away in his room for almost twenty-four hours, doing nothing but eating and fucking. We did squeeze a shower in at some point. I should be ready to take me and my pussy home, but for some reason, I couldn’t pull myself away from him long enough to put on my clothes and leave. Unless we were eating, we’d been in bed all day, and I was far from being ready to change that.
“You pick a fine time to ask. We’ve been here for hours.”
He chuckled. “I thought about it briefly but selfishly didn’t want you to leave. I figured you weren’t irresponsible enough to ignore your responsibilities all day.”
“You’re correct. If there was something I needed to be doing, I would be doing it. The girls are with their father until tomorrow afternoon.”
“Does that mean I can keep you until then?”
“I’ll need a few hours to get my life together before they come home, but I’m in no rush to leave.”
“Good. That gives us plenty of time to talk.”
“Ugh. Talk? Why do we need to talk? I think our nether regions are communicating very well.”
“Because I’d like for us to get to know each other on more than a physical level.”
“If you insist . . . Tell me about Elias.”
“You sound like you couldn’t care less, but no more dick until we share at least ten facts about ourselves.”
“Ten facts? I don’t even know ten facts about myself.”
“By the time I’m done, you’ll come up with something.”
“Fine. You have my undivided attention.”
My head rested on his chest while he massaged my scalp with his fingers as he spoke.
“I grew up in a two-parent home with my older brother, Emmet. I’ve lived in Toledo my whole life, and even graduated from the University of Toledo. I was once engaged for six months, but she called it off because she claims she fell out of love with me. The crazy part is, she married someone else a few months later. My dumbass let her keep the ring because what would I do with it? When I was in Punta Cana, the ex I told you about broke into my house and destroyed it. She also sent a video of what looks like me and a woman having sex to the entire staff at my job. Okay, I think that’s only eight, but that’s all I can think of.”
“Damn. That started off relatively normal and got interesting real quick. Is your ex-fiancée still married?”
