"Good morning, Rosa." He tightens his grip around me and pulls me back even tighter against his bare chest. I wiggle my butt back against his already very firm rod that is poking me in the ass.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?"

He laughs as he buries his face in my neck. "What little sleep I had was wonderful."

"Now whose fault was that?"

He reaches down and pinches my butt under the covers. "Definitely yours."

I try my hardest to act offended. "Hey! It takes two to tango, buddy!"

He flips me on my back and settles between my legs. He tickles me along my rib cage and I start to squirm. "Buddy? I think I'm a little more than a buddy. Don't you, Rosa?" I try to speak, but the only noise that I can make is a squeak followed by deep belly laughs. "What was that? I'm sorry I can't understand you. Would you mind speaking up a bit?" I try my best to wiggle free, but I fail miserably. "Come on, Rosa. I taught you better than that. How are you supposed to get out of a hold like this?"

It's hard to think in a situation like this, but I get my wits about me and raise my knee up so I can hit him in his most sensitive area. Before I have a chance he picks up on my move and finally stops his tickle torture. He moves off me and lays on his side to allow me to catch my breath. My sides are burning from the laughter. "Good girl."

I'm still huffing and puffing trying to catch my breath, so I'm sure I sound like an injured animal. "That wasn't fair. That was totally not a realistic situation."

He props himself up on one arm. "No, it wasn't. The real thing would be much worse. It was still good practice though."

I guess I can't argue with that.

Expedition Italy

Rosalie

I shake the water off my umbrella before walking into Juli's cafe for a late lunch. She pops her head up from behind the counter and sighs with relief when she sees me. "It's just you. Thank fuck."

I put my elbows on the counter and lean over to see what she's working on. She's bent down behind the counter with tools spread all over the floor. "Bad day?"

She pushes the hair out of her face with the back of her hand and grabs the edge of the counter for support while she stands. "You have no idea."

She grabs our sandwiches and some chips before we sit at a table in the corner. I grab a handful of chips and stuff them in my mouth. "Want to talk about it?"

She slumps back in her seat and hangs her head. I've never seen her like this. Normally she's the one cheering me up. Not the other way around. "It has been a day from hell. It was raining when I woke up this morning. I hate the rain. Then, my coffee machine broke, so no coffee for me. And that disaster of a machine decided to poop soaked coffee grounds all over me before I left the house."

She raises her hands up in the air and motions to the ceiling. "I should have taken all that as a sign from the heavens not to leave my house this morning. See this shirt?" She pulls on the edges of her stained shirt for emphasis. "This is my third shirt of the day." I open my mouth to ask what else happened, but she holds her hand up to silence me. "Don't ask."

I sit back in my seat and accept my fate. "How did it go taking the pastries to Expedition Italy? Thanks for that by the way."

She gets up and starts pacing the room. "I was getting there. Before I can even walk into that horrid restaurant a car drives by when I'm walking on the sidewalk and splashes muddy water all over me." She motions in a circle around her head. "Thankfully he missed my hair, but he ruined one of my favorite pairs of jeans."

I take my first bite of my sandwich and watch as she paces a hole in the floor.

"Then, when I finally get there, this guy opened the front door and smacked me right in the face. That causes me to drop one of the boxes of pastries all over the ground. Well, I don't think guy is the right word, more like a scary badass." I open my mouth again, and she holds her hand up to prevent me from saying anything. "Don't worry, there were a few other boxes, it just pissed me off. Then I finally make it back here and my oven is broken. Again. That's why I have this shit all over my shirt."

She finally sits back down. She lets out a long breath and rubs her temples. "Please tell me something good has happened to you today." She sits up straighter. "Oh I know! Tell me about your first few days living with Matteo." She scrunches her nose. "Leave out anything sex related, I don't need that vision in my head."

I laugh at her while I keep eating my lunch. "You're a mess."

She takes a chip from my plate and pops it in her mouth. "But I'm your mess." She wipes her hands on her pants before she sits back in her chair. "Tell me about your marketing ideas for Moretti's. If all goes well I may have to get you to help me out around here."

I wipe my hands on a napkin and shake my head. "Talk to me again after I get done over there today. I'm kind of freaking out about it to be honest. I feel like I'm way out of my depth here."

She smacks her hand on the table and points at me.

"You are Rosalie freaking Auclair! Get your head out of your ass for two seconds so you can see how amazing you are! I mean, come on! Have you seen your blog? Girl, you are killing it! Don't you dare try to argue with me."
