“Yes, kitten.” Troy brought his hand up, watching as his sweet sub licked cum off his hand.

Bryce watched them both, sated and quiet while curled up against Troy, completely unaware of how much was being said with the one sexy act. Troy just hoped that they’d be able to talk things out and see where it could take them because he couldn’t see walking away from Bryce.

It would already be too hard.

Chapter 3

Oliver

“But I still don’t understand. Why would he play with us at the club and even talk on the phone, but not want to see us again?” Oliver knew he sounded frustrated. However, he just didn’t understand the logic.

“I think he’s conflicted about liking us both.” Troy pulled Oliver into his arms, bringing one hand up to play with the hair framing Oliver’s face. It still amazed Oliver what a tactile person his Dom was. Troy always came off as cool and probably emotionally distant to most people, but Oliver always felt loved and cared for. “He’s dated Doms and subs, but never in a relationship like ours.”

That was one of the pieces Oliver couldn’t quite work his head around. When it came to most people, he understood why they would push back against a relationship like what they wanted. He didn’t understand Bryce’s hesitance, though.

“This is the best type of relationship for him.” Oliver pushed his head close to Troy’s lips, encouraging a kiss. He loved forehead kisses; they made him feel warm and cuddly inside. “This way, he gets the best of both worlds. Both of us when he wants to be cuddled and loved. You when he’s feeling submissive.” Oliver gave Troy a flirty look when he got his kiss. “And me, when he’s all take-charge and controlling.”

“You’re looking forward to that part, aren’t you?” Troy’s smile was wicked, and Oliver could tell he was thinking about all kinds of fun things.

“Oh, yes.” Oliver’s toes almost curled. “He was so hot with you. I loved being able to sit back and watch you like that, especially since I was worn out and feeling fabulous.”

Oliver smiled as Troy gave him another kiss at his hairline. He almost moaned as Troy started to run his fingers absently through Oliver’s hair. It was so good—but they’d miss their appointment if they kept it up. “You’re going to make us late.”

“But those little moans sound so good.” Troy’s voice sent shivers down Oliver’s spine. Damn him. He was doing it on purpose.

“I want to go. You don’t have to protect me.” He pulled back enough to lean up and give Troy a quick peck on the lips. “If it goes bad, I won’t fall apart. Promise.”

Oliver thought it was the perfect way to see Bryce in person and figure out what the hell was going on, but Troy had found one excuse after another to put off the appointment. Once he hadn’t been able to talk his way out of it anymore, Oliver thought Troy would be fine. It turned out he was just going to try another tactic. He also thought Troy wasn’t just worried about Oliver’s emotions, but his own as well.

His blond giant had a mushy heart that he hid well most of the time.

“All right. Let’s go.” Troy pulled away, taking Oliver’s hand in his. Heading out to the truck, Troy looked at the clock as they climbed in. “You said it only takes ten minutes to get to the office?”

Oliver nodded. “Yes, so we still have time.”

He ignored the softdamn ithe heard coming from the passenger seat.

They drove to Bryce’s office in silence—too much silence. It gave Oliver too much time to think. He’d been on cloud nine when they’d called Bryce the day after their evening at the club. They’d thought they would have to bribe Ben or Conner for his number, but they’d found it online fairly easily. Bryce had been surprised to hear from them, but it hadn’t felt weird or like they were intruding.

The next couple of calls had gone just as well. To Oliver’s surprise, Bryce had even called them a few times. It was only when they’d started talking about dinner and going out somewhere that things had gotten awkward. They could talk for hours, the three of them together or just Bryce with one of them, but the minute dinner or even a movie was mentioned, suddenly something came up.

The first time it had happened, Oliver had been convinced they would never hear from Bryce again. He’d been floored when Bryce had called the next day, wanting to talk to Troy about a football game that was on.

He’d acted like nothing out of the ordinary had happened.

He knew Troy was worried that Bryce was ashamed of seeing the two of them together or that Bryce didn’t want to admit it was more than a casual fling, but Oliver knew it was more than that. The way Bryce talked about his family and his little comments about BDSM in general let Oliver know he wasn’t ashamed of anything. He just seemed hesitant…and confused.

Oliver didn’t understand what was making it so difficult, though.

What they wanted should have been perfect for Bryce.

He’d have someone who would take charge when he needed that and someone to dominate when he went all alpha. There would always be someone to do something with, sexually or just fun, and with three people the sex was off the charts hot as long as it was done right. And he and Troy had enough practice to make sure it went right, even if Bryce had never had a threesome.

He was slightly frustrated…that little piece of information hadn’t come up in conversation yet.

Not that he hadn’t tried to bring it up—Bryce was just playing it very close to the vest.

Bryce was turning out to be the king of mixed signals, and Oliver wanted some answers. He’d managed to make an appointment to get new insurance quotes with Bryce’s office last week when the regular assistant at the front desk was gone. Whoever had answered the phones only asked a few questions about the nature of the meeting. His name wasn’t one of them.
