Getting back on track, he took a deep breath. “Is thereanything I can get for you tonight, Sir? Would your subs like anything?”

They couldn’t seem to decide if they wanted to come or tohide under the table, so while I ordered for them, I kept both their dicksoccupied so their brains didn’t try to work too much. Our night was going to betoo much fun for something like brains to get involved.

Chapter 11

Scott

“Master?” Without waiting for Dare to answer, I kept going, needing to get the words out. “What does it mean when someone is wearing acollar and a leash?”

I was pretty sure I knew the answer, but I wanted to hear itdirectly from Dare before my heart stopped beating…or before it exploded in mychest.

He went still, stopping the teasing torment he was giving mydick and looking around the room. Something about my tone or the words had himgoing very serious. As he turned back to me, he stroked my cheek and shifted toblock my view…or maybe the view of everyone else to me.

“Sweetness, do you know them?”

Obviously I wasn’t subtle.

As I nodded, Ryan’s brain finally kicked into gear and heshifted, looking across the room. “Oh, it’s Freddy.”

Ryan’s eyes went wide. “It’s really Freddy.”

Swallowing, I kept my voice low and forced my gaze back toDare. “That’s one of the guys we hung out with sometimes. Well, before we gottogether.”

We hadn’t deliberately set out to isolate ourselves, butwith the way everything had changed, we liked quiet nights at home and datingmore. Ryan had mentioned earlier in the week that he just didn’t think aboutcalling any of the guys anymore.

I agreed with him, but mostly because we’d never been reallyclose and they weren’t the type of people I could see sharing our relationshipwith…they’d always seemed slightly judgmental and vanilla.

Clearly some of those assumptions had been wrong.

Dare was very still, studying our faces. “I need more to goon, guys. Do you want to leave or do you want to say hello? Besides panic, whatare you feeling?”

That was a damned good question.

Glancing over at Ryan, I shrugged before turning back toDare. “Um, confused?”

“And curious.” Ryan’s addition had me nodding.

“Yes, that too.”

Who was the man holding his leash?

Why was he wearing a leash?

How long had he been into this kind of stuff?

Would he understand our life?

Would he want us to pretend we hadn’t seen him?

What would he do if he saw us?

Dare let out a breath and seemed to process it for a moment.“We’re just going to ignore him and have fun. People-watching. Groping.”

He reached for his beer before holding it up and smiling.“Drinking. Teasing the cute waiter.”

That had Ryan and me both nearly giggling, just the mentionof Randall completely distracting.

Blushing, I leaned closer and whispered as Dare set theglass down. “Are we really supposed to be saying how cute the waiter is when heblushes?”
