His reputation was something everybody should strive for. It was nice to know that my safety and well-being were in capable hands.

It was another late-night and he was standing at the door rigid and attentive.

I started wearing provocative clothing with a little bit of flesh showing. It was meant to arouse his interest. He couldn't exactly hide his excitement, but he never acted on it. He wanted to keep things professional, but I wanted to see what other things he could do with his hands behind closed doors.

"I don't care what time it is. You promised me an audience with the president. Jack assured me this was taken care of. The last thing you want to do is make an enemy out of me. I'm not threatening you. Perish the thought," I said with my hand over the receiver.

The snap of my fingers got his attention.

"I hope this isn't boring you." I moved my hand up and down to make it appear the person on the other end of the line was very talkative.

"I'm here at your request. Jasper and Luke are patrolling outside the building looking for anything suspicious. You pay us quite well to do our job efficiently," he said with both hands on my desk.

I instinctively grabbed his tie and pulled it off of him. I didn't realize it was a clip-on.

"It's after hours. You can relax a little. Would it kill you to loosen a couple of buttons?" I addressed his immaculate appearance.

I was halfheartedly listening to the feeble excuses, waiting for a lull to insert my dominance into the conversation on the phone.

The president's aide tried to play hard ball.

Flex gazed over his shoulder at the closed door before unbuttoning his shirt until I became speechless. There wasn't much showing but I was getting a brief peek underneath his prim and proper exterior.

"That's more like it. Have a drink. I insist," I implored with one hand reaching down to open my desk where there was a bottle of the best brandy money could buy.

The contributions were coming in hand over fist.

I set down two glasses and filled both of them halfway. I slid it across the table to the edge where he was quick to catch it. He looked unsure of himself.

"I know I could use a stiff one right about now," I intimated something more without coming out and saying it.

"I don't think I should. I'm on duty," he said with his fingers drumming on the edge of the glass.

"I have it on good authority the boss is fine with it. We are very close." I smiled with two fingers crossed.

The liquor burned on the way down, but it created a warmth in my lower extremities.

"I hear what you're saying but tell it to somebody who cares. Do I have to bring up Martina? I didn't think so. Get back to me when you have everything arranged," I demanded and cut the communication short before the aide had a chance to respond.

He was probably fuming mad with metaphorical steam coming out of his ears. The one thing no man wanted was to be reminded of a forgotten dalliance. It might've been a one-night stand, but his wife wasn't that forgiving.

Jack always surprised me when he found intimate details.

I didn't know how he did it, but I was glad he was on my side. We never talked about his personal life and he never offered to share. He separated his personal from his business.

"It's very smooth," Flex interjected.

I got up from my desk and purposely bent over in front of him. It was positively decadent to feel the pleated material rise to expose my inner thighs. He didn't need to know I wasn't wearing panties. They only seemed to get in the way and stick to me like a second skin when he was around.

There was something liberating about wearing nothing underneath the skirt.

He swallowed hard and squeaked a little in response to seeing a little more of me. It was fun to play with his libido. Just how far I was willing to go was anybody's guess. The liquor was helping me to unwind, but it also allowed me to focus on something more than business.

"The three of you have been there every step of the way. I'm glad that I could find gainful employment for men of such character and conviction," I said before standing in front of him with my chest arched..

The day had gotten past me, but the night had barely begun. The office was empty.

I could feel my heartbeat hammering inside my chest. My palms were sweaty and my legs threatened to collapse underneath me.
