“You’re asking the wrong person,” Nerazi hisses through his lust.
It takes me a moment to realize what he means. “Please, Your Majesty, may I come?”
The Vasurian monarch’s voice is hoarse when he answers. “Yes, Beacon of Light, come for your mates.”
My world shatters, going black before bursting with color with the intensity of my orgasm. Xhoshad growls, reaching around to rake his claws between my shoulder blades while Nerazi scores my back and Seriq, my stomach. The pain of their claws etching to my flesh takes me to another level, and I cry out both from the pain and the feeling of my mates filling me up as they come as one.
It's not until I hear the harsh panting to my left that my brain connects the sound to the king as he strokes himself to completion, too turned on not to touch himself. Seriq lifts me off their conjoined cock, shifting back into his Vasura form to angle me before the king. His gaze drinks in the sight of me, flushed and my legs soaked with everyone’s cum as it drips down the inside of my thighs.
Everything culminates into this second as his gaze locks with mine. The king moans, pumping his monster cock back and forth until a spasm rocks his body and he lets go, coming all over the ground and his hand. The world shakes, as if moved by his orgasm, and a blast of power bursts from the man that sparks in the darkness before extinguishing.
I just hope it was enough energy to open the portals because I’m not sure I have enough strength for another round.

ALEXIS
Ababy’scryburststhe bubble of contentment that I’m wrapped up in. I instantly snap to attention. Unfolding myself from the three sets of limbs that hold me captive, my gaze sweeps over the familiar scenery of my childhood front yard as I search for Asha and Elic. What I find instead is an entirely different infant. It takes my brain a moment to catch up and realize that it’s Roxy’s.
I forgot that when the portal sucked me in, I was holding my best friend’s egg. Between Seriq regaining control over his emotion, disarming The Revenant Swarm, and the king watching me fuck my trium to garner enough power to open the portals, the egg hatched. All of which calls into question of what emotion the baby was born from.
Dread pools inside of me as I walk over to scoop up the child. I inspect the newborn from head to toe—a boy—but he appears perfectly healthy. He’s in his human form except for his glowing blue eyes, reminding me of who his father is and everything else that’s at stake with The Fallacious still at large. Nerazi comes to stand next to me, peering intently down at the child.
“It’s Roxy’s baby. I forgot about the poor little guy.” I cuddle him closer to my chest at my confession. "Do you know what emotion he was made from?”
Nerazi continues to stare, turning away from me so I miss the tell-tale twinkle in his eye. “Unity.”
“Unity?” I wrinkle my nose. The emotion seems too pure for a Vasura.
“Hedonistic unity,” my yellow-eyed monster clarifies, and I suck in a horrified breath.
“Oh my god, he was born from our orgy?! That’s worse than desire. Ahh, Roxy is going to kill me!”
Xhoshad comes over and smacks Nerazi across the back of his head. “You’re such a prick. Stop messing with our mate.”
I glare at my trouble-making mate. “So he’s not born fromunity?”
My red-eyed monster shakes his head. “No, I sense determination—resolve.”
Nibbling my lip, I ponder Xho’s words. “How did he getthatfrom… everything that's happened?”
“It came from the king when he opened the portals.”
A thrill courses through me at Seriq’s announcement. “We did it!” But when I turn to thank the Vasurian monarch, he’s gone. “Did he already go back?”
Seriq’s viridescent gaze locks with mine. “No. He gave his life to open the portals. His very essence reconnected the link between the two realms. That is the emotion that formed your friend’s child.”
I bow my head in sadness at the king’s sacrifice, but know the time spent at the core of The Fallacious’ army was a fate far worse than death. Unlike the other Vasura who had lost hope at finding their mate, the king experienced bonding with his other half, only to have her cruelly ripped from him. He likely welcomed the closure that death offered.
The little guy in my arms squirms as Nerazi wraps an arm around my waist. “Come on, love, we need to get to the portal under your bed. It’ll be dawn soon.”
My mate tucks me in close to his side, just as I do to Roxy’s babe. Xhoshad walks on my other side, and Seriq flanks our backs. When we make our way to my old bedroom, it’s in shambles. Scratches score the walls and all the furniture except the bed is tipped over as if a hurricane blew through.
“What happened in here?”
“Me.”
Seriq’s simple response is answer enough, and suddenly, the destruction in the room paints a very different picture—one that tugs at my heart. To an outsider, it appears as if a maniac took out his violent rage on all the contents within the four walls, but I know otherwise. This wasn’t an act of violence, but one born of fear and pain.
