I moaned in response because that was all I could do. It felt too good. The thrill of getting caught oddly turned me on.

Kyden grabbed my neck again and pulled me toward him, so I sat up. When his other hand gripped my waist, I bounced on his dick. I leaned back a little and had my hand on his stomach as he pumped hard into me.

“Cum for me, baby. Please.”

Kyden’s strangled tone had me tightening my walls to help speed up the orgasm he chased. I stopped bouncing and rocked back and forth. My toes curled as I came hard, calling Kyden’s name.

“Fuck, Elise. Pussy soaking me up.” He pumped harder into me until he released inside of me.

It took us a few minutes to gather ourselves before we got back in the front seat.

“Let’s get home so I can put you to sleep,” Kyden said as he closed the door.

“I’m ready.” I rested my head on the window as he pulled off. “I had a good time today,” I told him when we got down the street.

Kyden switched hands on the wheel so he could put his hand on my leg.

“I did too.” He focused back on the road.

When we got back to his house, he did exactly what he said he would do. We showered together, which turned into us having sex in the shower but finishing in the bedroom, and I went to sleep like a baby.

“Mr. Mayor, how are you today?”

Kaleb looked up from the paperwork on his desk when I walked into his office.

“I’m good, sheriff. How are you?”

I sat in one of the chairs in front of his desk. I was on my way to grab lunch for Kanae and me but decided to check in on my brother since we both had been occupied with our ladies.

“I’m great. Crime is down, and my love life couldn’t be better.”

It was hard not telling him about the baby, but I promised Kanae I wouldn’t tell, so I didn’t.

“Good to know, but have you told her yet?”

I rubbed the stubble on my chin and looked toward the window. Kaleb’s office had a great view of the city, and sometimes, I would come here just to check out the view.

“It just never feels like the right time.”

I didn’t look him in the eye. Instead, I focused on the plaques behind him. Kaleb leaned forward with his elbows on his desk.

“Ky, I don’t want to tell you what to do, but you have to tell her before the shit comes back to bite you in the ass.”

I sighed. “I know, Bro. It’s just so much other stuff going on.”

“Like what? Talk to me.”

The sound of my phone ringing halted my next words. “Hold on. Let me get this.”

I pulled the phone from my pocket while Kaleb went back to his paperwork.

“Hello,” I answered, but nobody responded.

“Hello,” I repeated, and still got nothing. I sucked my teeth and hung up.

Kaleb’s eyes were already on me. “Everything good?”

“Yeah. I’ve been getting these anonymous calls, and I hardly answer, but when I do, the person on the other end doesn’t say anything.”
