“Margaret is an older woman who’s been a little obsessed with me. But even if it was Mallory on that call today, it wouldn’t have mattered. We dated forever ago and it was never anything serious to me. She didn’t mean a fraction of what you do to me.”
“I…I have to get back to work and finish this dog,” she says softly.
I nod. “Come by the station before you leave later.”
She smirks. “Maybe.”
I drop a quick kiss to her cheek, and start walking toward the door. “I mean it, Sutton. I need to see your gorgeous face one more time today to get me through the night.”
“You’re ridiculous,” she tells me.
“You like it.”
“Shut up, Vern.”
“You like it.”
I laugh while leaving and I swear I hear the bird call out, “jizz,”but I don’t think I’m going to question that one.
CHAPTER 35
Sutton
Lily peaksaround the corner after Jameson is gone, and sighs. “I didn’t want to interrupt, but I take it you two figured out your little lovers quarrel?”
“That’s not what it was,” I deny, trying to focus back on finishing the dog on my table.
“Right, that’s what they all say. But a ‘not lovers quarrel’ was how I ended up at a male strip club with a group of friends one weekend last term.”
Here we go.
“One of the guy’s had a dick piercing, which I’ve never seen before and it looks pretty scary. But he was hitting it against the pole, so the music was playing while he just swung his dick and it made a sound every time the metal hit the metal.”
Part of me wants to ask how this is where her brain went, the other part of me is curious where else the story is going to go. If there’s one thing about Lily, it’s that whatever she’s going to say, it’s never anything you expect. I have a feeling this won’t be any different.
“Another guy came out with an electric skillet and started doing this like fire dance around it.”
My point exactly.
“One of my friends, not the one who was in the fight with her situationship, but another one that was with us, ended up fucking that guy in the bathroom.”
“Was it the same one that ducked the duck man?” I can’t help myself, she’s rubbing off on me.
“No, she wasn’t with us. But she said he had a massive dick and ended up going to a hotel with him. Once they got there he expected her to pay for half and she actually did. And still had sex with him.”
“The bathroom wasn’t enough for her?” I bite back my laughter.
“Apparently not, though she said his dick was painfully big so I’m shocked she went back for seconds.”
That comment gets me and the laugh bursts out of me. It also makes me think of my own…situation with Jameson and how I’m impressed I went back for seconds as well with him considering his size. But it’s not just about that with him, he makes it impossible to want to stay away completely.
“Did she see him again?”
“Of course not, he had her pay for half the hotel. That was for a good time, not a long time.”
Yet again, I don’t know how we got here, but I appreciate the insane story. There’s never a dull day with Lily and it helps meget through the rest of my work day without constantly looking over to watch Jameson.
Once I’m donefor the day, I head home to let Bennet out. I know Jameson asked me to come back to see him, but I don’t want to disturb him at work. I’ll call him later.
