“That’s it, let it go, Janie. Come for me,” I said in a gravelly voice.

“Odin, fuck!” she wailed as she rode my hand hard before finally relaxing into the seat.

I left my fingers tucked inside her until she stopped panting, then put them to my mouth and sucked her essence off. “This will do until I get to properly taste you.”

She chuckled, then pulled her skirt down and leaned her head against the rest. “God, I can’t believe I just let you do that.”

“Oh no. Don’t blame me for that. I was only following your lead.” I reached back over and grabbed her thigh. “And I am happy to take care of you any time you so desire.”

She placed her hand over mine, threading our fingers together. Her glowy smile stirred my chest.

“So, I know you said you can travel back and forth, but didn’t you have plans to be gone by now?”

“Ready to be rid of me, then?”

She squeezed tighter. “No. I–well, never mind.”

I pulled my fingers from hers, but only to flip my hand, so we were properly holding each other’s. “What, Janie? I’d hope after you had me finger you in the car in broad daylight you could talk to me.”

She blushed and covered her face with her free hand. “Ah, when you say it like that it seems so–”

“Fun? Satisfying?”

“Odin. You know what I mean!” She turned in the seat but pointed ahead. “There’s the restaurant. But how do you do this?”

I turned into the very small and sketchy looking parking lot. The restaurant seemed questionable, but she hadn’t steered me wrong since I’d been here. “I have good hands.” She sighed so I squeezed her hand. “What do you mean, Janie?”

We both unbuckled, but she grabbed my hand before I went for the door. “How do you make me feel so comfortable doing these things? And, well, you make me feel so…wanted.”

I glanced around the lot, and only a few people were nearby, and they were all walking toward the door to the restaurant. Leaning over, I cupped her face and swallowed hard. “Janie, I do want you so that parts easy. And I want you to be yourself and happy because you make me happy. Happier than I’ve ever been. I know you think this is complicated, but it doesn’t have to be.”

She smiled as her eyes began to glisten, so I pulled her to me and kissed her softly but deeply, letting my emotions pour into her through our lips. Her hands wrapped around the back of my neck and brought me even closer.

Finally, she pulled away, but pressed her forehead to mine. “You make me happier than I’ve ever been, too. I just worry–”

I put a finger to her lips as my chest puffed out. “Don’t worry about that. Stop worrying.” I kissed her once more, swallowing hard as pressure built in my chest and tried to move to my face. “Now, let’s go eat and get back before wedogive them something to talk about.”

Chapter 21

Janie

After lunch, we rode back quietly, hand in hand. My body hummed, but not from the orgasm pre-sushi lunch. It was from him. Us. It was so right. It all felt perfect.

I almost didn’t care if anyone saw us…almost. But I still tried to be professional heading back into the office. The grinning and glances in the elevator would have been a dead giveaway had anyone been in there.

I cleared my throat and straightened as our floor approached. When the doors opened, I did my best to wipe my face of the giddy feeling I had and casually thanked Odin for the business lunch in case anyone was listening.

“I’ll be back in the conference room shortly, sir. I just need to drop my coat and visit the ladies’ room.”

“Take your time,” he said in a deep baritone. Good thing I was already going to the ladies’ room because I definitely needed to freshen up and somehow address my soaked panties. I already did that once at the restaurant.

I left my coat and bag in my office then hustled to the restroom. Candy was not far behind, but I was already in a stall.

“Janie, oh my God! Everyone was whispering about how you went out for lunch with Odin. Alone.”

“And?” I asked coming out once I was done.

As I washed my hands, she continued. “It was mostly, ‘good for her,’ and, ‘I can’t wait to see the look on Donnie’s face when he finds out,’ and stuff like that. I told you; everyone has your back! But I think everyone is starting to put it together. And I figured you may want a heads up.”
