"What was your lie and your other truth? I've figured out everyone's butyours."

I chuckled and grinned devilishly, watching confusion mix with the arousal in hereyes.

"I cheated," I admitted. "All three things I told you weretruths."

Her eyes narrowed into an imposing but adorable glare that made me hard as arock.

"So you're a cheater, huh?" she accused, turning around in Sal's arms to face mesquarely.

"Sometimes, when it suits me," I confessed, cupping her cheek and dragging my fingers through her hair, which felt good, as the shift in her expression showed. Her pulse beat wildly against my chest as I brought my mouth to herear.

"But I am never a liar," I whispered against the shell of her ear before dragging my teeth along the delicate cartilage. Her pulse hammered and her breath already came in quickpants.

Her mouth waited for mine, open like a delicate flower which I ravaged like a predator once I tastedit.

I let out a low groan as my tongue surged into her mouth, releasing all my longing, all my need. Ash was right, she was incredibly responsive. Like she missed and needed us in the same way we did her, even if she didn’t remember usyet.

Deja broke our kiss abruptly with a sharp gasp, looking over her shoulder. Sal had been kissing the nape of her neck and the top of her back. He captured her mouth as she looked, spinning her around to facehim.

As they kissed, I traced my fingers down over her spine, remembering longingly how beautiful and perfect her naked body looked between all of ours. One day we would have that again, our perfect harmony. But not until sheremembered.

Deja wrenched herself out of Sal's grasp and backed away from both of us, eyes wide and breathingheavily.

"What the fuck is going on?" she demanded, raising a trembling finger to her lips. "Ash andI--"

"Don't worry. He knows we're here," Sal said, his voice unusually relaxed. "It's okay, Deja. There's no backstabbing or anything goingon."

Her eyes darted back and forth from Sal and I. My heart squeezed with an aching discomfort. Of course this was overwhelming for her. Two partners was the only relationship dynamic she consciously knew. For the vast majority of modern-day humans, that was the onlyway.

"We don't want to confuse you," I said, taking a step toward her. "I promise this will all make sense intime."

"I don't know what you're talking about," she protested, although her large pupils and shallow, panting breaths betrayed her. "You're trying to groom me for some crazy demon orgy ritual orsomething."

Sal laughed at that and I had to release a chuckletoo.

"You feel the same things we do," he said. "Only you feel it for all of usequally."

"We know it goes against everything you were brought up to believe," I added. "Not only under your religion but in this society. But what you're feeling is natural and normal for demonkind and many witches aswell."

Deja said nothing, just stared at the empty air in front of her as her breathing slowly returned tonormal.

"We should probably leave her alone for now," Sal said to me, the last words I expected to come out of his mouth. "She still needs time to processthis."

I nodded my agreement and in the next moment, hedisappeared.

Reluctant to leave, I approached Deja slowly and took one of her small hands in mind. Her large, honey-colored eyes looked up at me, defensive andunsure.

"We're always nearby when you need us," I said, lifting her fingers to my lips for one last taste of her before taking myleave.

DEJA

Thanks to those two, every attempt to resume meditating on my dark power went out thewindow.

With a frustrated grunt, I stood up from the coffee table and stretched my legs to ease the pins and needles settling in, then went to the kitchen in search of a bottle ofwine.

Even if I could get into a meditative headspace, I would just the see the same darkness and feel the same hot sensations of hands and mouths on me and get even more sexuallyfrustrated.
