I somehow made it over to Reaper and Hades on wobbly legs. Jandro never failed to have me swooning on my feet.

“Is that smile for me?” Reaper handed me a small mug of coffee, green eyes twinkling. Even he was in a great mood today.

“Always.” I stood on tiptoes to reach his lips. “Jandro just put it there first this morning.”

“That motherfucker,” he growled in jest before his mouth descended on mine.

I had kissed both of them seconds apart for days now, and the contrast of Jandro’s softness with Reaper’s roughness never failed to send my nerves tingling. The thrill of it went straight down to my toes, concentrating in my core. Neither one was better than the other. My body craved each man for the unique pleasure he gave me.

We finished kissing and I drained the coffee before handing the mug back to him.

“Ready, sugar?” He screwed the mug back on the thermos cup and handed me my helmet.

“I still think you should wear one of these,” I said, pulling it over my hair.

“I’ll buy one today,” he grinned.

Liar.

After an hourof riding through an uninhabited desert, colors and movement began to appear on the horizon. I popped up my visor and squinted over Reaper’s shoulder. The colors expanded outward in both directions. I started to see tents and canopies, and what looked like metal shining in the sun.

By the time Reaper slowed, the club was pulling up to what resembled a bright and lively downtown district. This market was a whole lot more than just a few vendors selling things at tables. A pair of musicians played on a guitar and drums while children danced. One stall roasted a huge pig over a bonfire, turning it slowly on a spit. A repurposed taco truck advertised wood-fired pizza. The cute little cart next to it said, “Fresh-baked cookies!”

Every kind of food imaginable was here, and hundreds of other vendors on top of that. Just scanning from the bike I saw jewelry, clothes, furniture, books, teas, and candles. I began to see why everyone was so excited about coming here. It was a feast for the eyes. and one that made it easy to part with your goods to trade.

When Reaper pulled up to park at the crudely erected gate just outside the market, I only then noticed the other motorcycles parked in the area across from us.

“Reaper.”

“I know, sugar. Other clubs are here to do business too, but they’re nothing to worry about.” He swung a leg off the bike, then picked me up by the waist to set me on the ground. “Just keep this jacket on at all times. Got it?”

“Yes, president,” I teased.

“Fuck, you just had to call me that while wearing apropertyjacket.” He stroked a thumb across my cheek. “You’re so fuckin’ hot, you know that?”

“Aww, thanks Rory.” I grabbed his belt loops and pulled him closer. Somewhere behind me, Jandro cracked up laughing.

“And boner ruined,” Reaper grumbled.

“There’s pills for that, you know.”

“Shut your damn mouth.” Capturing my face between his palms, the kiss he gave me prevented me from doing just that. “Don’t wander too far,” he whispered against my lips. “Stay with Noelle, or anyone else in the club. And remember—“

“Keep the jacket on, I know.”

“Good girl.” A final kiss. “Love you.” He sent me off with a swat on the ass to Noelle, who waited for me at the market entrance.

“He sent you away fast.” She narrowed her eyes in suspicion at her brother as we started walking through a narrow path between colorful stalls. “I thought he’d want you glued to his side.”

“What, you think he’s up to something?” I looked back briefly. He was just digging into his saddle bags like the rest of the guys.

“You never know with him. Nothing bad, of course,” she assured me at my wide-eyed expression. “You keep his dick locked in a cage as far as he’s concerned. He’s not going anywhere in that sense.”

Now that she pointed it out, I was going to keep thinking about it if I didn’t have a distraction.

“Let’s find something for Tessa,” I said. “Not for the baby, but a gift just for her.”

Noelle grabbed my arm with an excited squeak. “That’s a great idea! The poor thing probably hasn’t gotten a nice non-baby related gift in years. Let’s see, she loves anything to do with flowers…”
