“I think that’s all of them, honestly. Levi with his spreadsheets, Gideon with his boats. What is it with Zeke, Talia?” Naomi asked.

“Jam,” she mumbled around a cookie she had taken from the tray on the table.

“Jam? Is that a kink I haven’t heard of yet?” Delilah asked, confused.

“Ew, gross. No! He literally gets so focused in the early summer when it’sjam season,as he calls it. He will spend hours, no, days, bent over his pots and pans canning jams.”

“What a weird thing to obsess over,” Delilah muttered under her breath.

“Hey, mock it all you want. You love that gooseberry jam he made,” Talia tossed right back with a smug look.

“Wait, hold up. He made that?! Well, slap my ass and call me a newborn! I take it all back. Let the man jam, Talia. It’s godly work.” We all erupted into a fit of giggles at Delilah’s comment.

“What about Ollie?” Talia asked, pushing the question right back on the still laughing woman.

“It’s music,” Delilah groaned with an overly dramatic eye-roll. “The man dances around the house more than anyone could possibly imagine. And when he’s just come out of the shower… let’s just say it’s not a good look on him.”

“Why not? Naked man dancing? Sounds like a good time to me,” Ruth argued, wagging her eyebrows suggestively.

“You’d think that, wouldn’t you? But no way. Dancing man, sexy. Bouncing flaccid man bits, not even remotely sexy. It’s not pretty. That’s all I can say about it.”

I had just taken a sip of water and almost spat it out across the room at the image she painted.

“Oh my god, Delilah, you’re impossible,” Ruth groaned, rolling her eyes at our sister-in-law.

“Oh, come off it. I’m just saying what we’re all thinking,” she muttered with a shrug. “But enough about me. What about Malachi? What does he obsess over, forgetting all else?” Delilah asked. Each of their gazes landed squarely on me.

“Storms,” I said with a blush.

“I don’t get it. Isthata kink thing? Where are you all learning all these new kink things? I feel so left out,” Delilah mumbled, making me laugh loudly. That woman and her antics.

“Good Lord, Delilah, you’re as bad as Ollie,” Talia teased.

“Oof, those are fighting words, ma’am,” Delilah chuckled, reaching for a cookie of her own.

“So, back to Eden’s thing. What do you mean, storms?” Ruth asked.

“I mean, he tends to hyper fixate on them. Or—” I trailed off with a blush.

“Oh, don’t get shy on us now, missy!” Talia teased.

“Yeah, no kidding! No shyness allowed in this family, in case you hadn’t noticed,” Delilah chuckled, winking at me.

“Well, I suppose it’s not that he hyper-fixates on storms, but rather, he hyper-fixates onme during storms,” I admitted with a blush.

“Hot damn, Eden!” Delilah basically shrieked. “Ollie mentioned Malachi has a primal kink, and honestly, I never asked much further. He’s such a grouch, I figured he just grumbled a lot.”

“More like growls,” I added under my breath with a smirk. The gasps and shocked expressions that went around the room at my statement had us all in a fit of giggles.

“I think I need details,” Ruth chuckled.

“Does anyone have a pen and paper? This sounds like good Friday material for Zeke and I,” Talia agreed.

“Friday material? Now thathasto be a kink thing I don’t know about yet,” Delilah added, making me laugh again.

“Zeke and I have implemented Frisky Fridays. During the week, we research, finding new photos, or ideas, or kinks to add to the bedroom. Then on Friday, we put them into action after negotiating. It’s been a fun way to test the waters together and allow me to try things that aren’t Zeke’s normal go-to’s,” she explained with a shrug.

“That’s a pretty revolutionary idea! Mind if I steal it? Though I’m not sure Levi would ever go to it. That man knows what he likes and sticks to it,” Ruth said with a small laugh.
