I roll my eyes, completely disgusted by him. He’s shown his true colors ever since we did pictures on the beach. I shudder. What if I actually fell for him? How long until I found out what he’s truly like? Someone whowill do almost anything to get what he wants? “What is he doing here?” I demand.
“Give her the paper,” Grandma instructs Dorian.
He stands in front of me, holding out a folded white piece of paper.
I grudgingly take it from him. I’m scared to open it. Why does something that weighs as light as a feather feel so heavy in my hand? “What is it?”
Grandma tilts her head forward. “Read it and see.”

CONTRACT BETWEEN DORIAN BOWMAN & SADIE ASHCOMBE
In exchange of marriage to Sadie Ashcombe, Dorian Bowman agrees to provide the following:
$2,000/month allowance for Sadie to use however she wants
Health plan, retirement savings, and a home in Anchorage of her choosing up to $1 million
A trust fund for each child Sadie bears with a minimum of $100,000 and a maximum of $5 million (Child must graduate with a bachelor’s degree to access money)
Quarterly plane tickets to Utah to visit family
One vacation per year

Bear (or adopt if childbirth is not possible) a minimum of two children, with a maximum of four
