He lined up his weeping cock at her entrance.

Aria’s eyes clouded with lust as she swayed her hips and teased his hard length.

He leaned in and pressed his lips to the shell of her ear. “You’ll want to hold on to something, Mrs. Elliott. This might get rough.”

Her sweet smile gave way to a dirty little smirk. She anchored herself to the wrought iron spindles, then glanced at the old stove. “Clawdia’s ready. Let’s give her a good show.”

“Yes, ma’am.”

He shifted his weight, entering her. But he didn’t plow in like a horny teenager. He took his time. Nothing could compete with the sensation of their bodies becoming one.

But time was ticking away.

He hummed a gravelly sound and kissed the delicate skin beneath her earlobe.

“Oscar,” she pleaded.

Her words hit him like a gunshot at the start of a race.

Pow!He was off.

Pistoning his hips, he set a punishing pace straight off the block. Frenzied friction built between them. The creaky bed registered each thrash and every delicious thrust. And hot damn, there was nothing better than making love to the woman he worshipped in this noisy-ass bed.

“My normal penis thing is so ready to make your naughty-down-there-parts sing,” he whispered against her lips before capturing her mouth in a searing kiss.

Yeah, they were still using those silly terms for their genitals. Oddly enough, the more they said the words, the hotter they sounded. And what was wrong with a little sexy silliness? Absolutely nothing. He was no longer on the lookout for the darkest parts of life. He didn’t allow fear to set his course. Day by day, life on the island got better, brighter, and more exhilarating with his wife by his side. He’d found himself. He believed in the power of their love.

It was hard to fathom two weeks had passed since Aria’s blockbuster concert at Red Rocks. The world had watched their love-match happily-ever-after materialize in real time. It was a moment he’d keep close to his heart for the rest of his days. And they’d carried that love and zest for life through the entire performance.

The rest of the concert was like nothing he’d ever experienced. One couldn’t really call it a concert. It was more of a celebration. He loved seeing his wife in her element. Aria conducted instrumental pieces with the Havenmatch Players. She’d handed Georgia the reins a few times so she could accompany the musicians on the piano and violin. She’d performed acoustic versions of her pop hits. Her uncle and aunt had joined her on stage. The trio treated the audience to a singalong like no other. Performing Heartthrob Warfare hits her parents had helped write, Aria belted out the lyrics her mother and father had sung on the same stage. Her uncle told stories about Heartthrob Warfare’s early days. Her aunt spoke about the Double-Dog Dare Music Festival that had also started on that very stage. The evening became an emotional, inspiring, and heartfelt celebration of music, love, and laughter. And he’d been by her side, singing along with the audience, for every remarkable second of it.

By opening herself up and allowing the world to see the real Aria, she’d cemented her place in music history.

The next day, the reviews came tumbling in. Critics called her a gifted artist in a class of her own.

They were right.

He’d attempted to share the outpouring of adulation with her, but she’d waved him off. With a highlighter in her hand, she’d moved on to her next project—theirnext project. Sweet Escape Media, LLC—the company that would recreate and expand the arts and fishing community on Havenmatch Island. And what was their business address? Easy: The Sweet Escape Inn. They’d decided to dream big. And why not? Together, they were unstoppable.

They planned to offer comprehensive classes, seminars, internships, and apprenticeships. Proposals were in the works to partner with schools and community groups. It was a colossal undertaking, but they didn’t have to do it alone.

You heard that right. The lone wolf and Miss Eat Worms were now team players.Rah, rah, rah!Go, Team Love Match.

That was one of the reasons they’d asked their friends and family to visit Havenmatch Island. Of course, they’d wanted to see them, but they also wanted to invite them to be a part of Sweet Escape Media’s endeavor.

And everyone was in.

Phoebe and Sebastian signed on to stream free online learning courses through their Go Girl internet platform. His father and Charlotte agreed to quarterly lectures on cooking and photography. Aria’s aunt and uncle would mentor budding musicians over the summers. Rowen and Penny would spearhead a class fusing the use of music in video game creation. Erasmus Cress and Libby Lamb offered classes on the mind and body’s connection to bolstering creativity. And this was in addition to harnessing the islanders’ vast talents. Not to mention—thanks to Del and his lobstermen yucking it up on the internet—there had been a huge uptick in people wanting to learn the old lobstering techniques. People were signing up to have Del bark orders at them.#Sternmanwas trending online, and they already had a waiting list.

They even had the basics covered when it came to daily maintenance and fielding questions from the public.Dom would take over PR. Malik and his team were in charge of safety and security. Several of Aria’s stagehands and PAs signed on to keep the island’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems up to snuff.

They had talent coming out of their ears.

They’d even offered Justin the job of chief bait bucket cleaner.

Psych!

Of course, they hadn’t reached out to the boy band buffoon. There was no way in hell he was about to let that douchebag near his wife—mainly for Justin’s safety. Her right hook was no joke. But he did take the guy up on the free T-shirt. Guest room toilets didn’t clean themselves. Who could resist the opportunity to wipe down a toilet seat with Justin Jamison’s face? As soon as Aria saw it, she’d toss it in the trash. Until then, he could have a little fun.
