He looked over her, his face serious.“Hell yes, I am.”

She tried not to laugh, but she failed. There was something kind of adorable about the big, bad Navy SEAL being jealous.

“Relax,” she said, kissing his shoulder.“I’m lying here with you, aren’t I?”

He reached up and pressed his hand against her cheek.“I like you lying next to me.”

She smiled.“I like it too.”

“I like it even more because you’re naked,” he told her and gave his eyebrows a little flirty wiggle.

“You’re ridiculous,” she said laughingly.

He kissed her temple.“You love it.”

She did.God help her, she really did.

She then sat up fully and reluctantly pulled away from the warmth of his body.

“Hey, where are you going?”he pouted, looking like he was losing his best friend. It was cute.

“Well, if we are doing this, we should probably get up and shower.Plus, I need coffee.”

Before she could stand, Nails slid an arm around her waist and tugged her back into the bed.

“Or,” he said, planting a warm kiss just below her ear.“you could stay for five more minutes.”

She giggled as he kissed her neck.“If you keep doing that, we won’t leave the bed at all.”

“Is that a bad thing?”Nails ask, his voice sounding husky.

Riley smirked and swatted his chest.“Let me up, caveman.”

He groaned dramatically and rolled away, but not before pulling her in for one last, deep kiss that was a promise that this wasn’t over. And she hoped it wasn’t because she couldn’t wait to crawl back into his bed and snuggle with him.

After quick showers, Riley walked out to the kitchen with Nails following behind her.Nails had already warned her that the guys would probably give them shit about him staying in her room last night.

The moment they stepped into the kitchen, forks paused midair, mugs stopped halfway to lips, and seven heads turned in unison.

Ah, shit…here we go,Riley thought to herself.

Snow looked up first, one eyebrow lifting in thatI know something you don’t want me to knowway.“Well, well.Sleeping beauty and her bodyguard.”

“Morning to you, too,” Riley said dryly, heading straight for the coffee pot.

Playboy leaned back in his chair, smirking between her and Nails.“You two seem… well rested.”

Aussie snorted into his eggs.“That’s one word for it.”

Riley grabbed a mug from the cabinet like she was deaf.“Wow.Look at that.Everyone’s a comedian this morning.”

Jay Bird, mercifully, kept his head down over his plate, though the twitch at the corner of his mouth betrayed him.

Nails didn’t seem fazed in the slightest. He just slid in behind Riley at the counter, reaching past her to snag the coffee pot like he’d been doing it his whole life.

Bear jumped in, his grin wide.“I’m shocked it took this long.We were starting to think Nails lost his edge.”

She turned to Nails, who was calmly pouring coffee like the room wasn’t ganging up on them.“You’re just gonna let them keep going?”she muttered.
