“Did you notice a very fancy Italian woman dressed in all gold at the party?”
I slowly nodded. “Yeah. She actually looked a bit like Daphne...” I paused. “Wait. Was that Daphne?”
“It was. And she had a few masked servants with her. That was me and Young Robert.”
I laughed. I remember being insanely attracted to one of them even though he was wearing a mask. I should have known it wasTanner. But why were Rob and Daphne with him? I pressed my lips together.Oh shit.“Did um...Rob happen to say anything to you about...um...things?”
“Are you asking me if I know that you told Rob and Daphne that I’m a genie? If so, the answer is yes.”
My eyes grew round. “I didn’t tell Daphne! She just overheard, I swear. And I only brought it up to Rob because I thought he already knew and he thought I was pregnant and that I cheated on you...”
“It’s fine,” he said with a smile. “Robert didn’t know long enough to do too much damage.”
“I can’t believe you all were there.” I put my hand over my face. “Does that mean you were...watching me the whole time?” I slowly lowered my hand to see his smile.
“It was very sexy.”
