He pulled my garter off with his teeth. He winked at me when his head came out of my poofy skirt.
“Now can all the single guys come to the edge of the dance floor?” said Spaceboy.
Tanner leaned forward and whispered in my ear. “I can’t wait for later.”
Yeah, me neither.Every moment with him was magical.

Tanner
I couldn’t wait to rip this dress off of Ash. But first... I turned around and shot her garter into the crowd of guys.
There were lots of guys fighting for it.
It bounced around and then someone dropped it. They all stopped pushing and shoving and moved away.
Young Jacob was standing in the middle of them holding the garter up in the air triumphantly.
“Way to go, grandson!” I yelled. But also... what was he doing out of bed? This was hardly appropriate for the young lad.
Daphne came running onto the dance floor. “There you are. Stop running off on me. It’s bedtime.” She picked him up and carried him out of the ballroom.
I laughed. He was a slippery little fellow. That would certainly come in handy when he was older and sneaking out of the house. Probably to meet Scarlett in the middle of the night.
Ash walked up to me as all the guys went back to their seats and the girls gathered to the side of the dance floor to fight for the bouquet.
Ash turned around and tossed it over her shoulder.
There was no scramble this time.
Chastity jumped up and caught it mid-air.
“Well that was unexpected,” I said. “What are the odds that Chastity actually gets engaged soon?”
Ash laughed. “Basically zero. She likes her dicks in twos. Should I maybe throw another bouquet?”
“Yes. Wait, no. Chastity actually looks really excited about it. Maybe she’ll surprise us.”
Ash smiled. “She really does, doesn’t she?”
“Who wants to be my husband for tonight?” Chastity yelled. She locked eyes with Spaceboy and flashed him.
I laughed. “Or not.” I looked down at my wife. “What do you say? Want to get out of here?”
“I thought you’d never ask.”
I grabbed a mic. “Thank you everyone for coming. We have enough rooms for everyone to spend the night. If you’d like to stay as a couple, take a key from that table.” I pointed to the table Nigel had set up. “Or if you’re single, take a key from one of those bowls.” I pointed to blue and pink bowls at a separate table. “But be warned…you won’t be spending the night alone. Have fun!”
I picked Ash up into my arms and carried her out of the ballroom.
“Today has been magical,” she said.
“Just wait until you see our suite.” I carried her up a windy staircase to the master suite. I snapped my fingers and the door opened. The first thing we saw was the giant clocktower window.
Nigel walked into the suite behind us. “Let me draw you a couples’ bath.” He hurried into the bathroom.
