I was in a state of euphoria, riding the high of having Carter inside me, using me. I never would have guessed I would enjoy it this much.
Then he flipped me over and thrust into me harder, deeper. His gaze met mine, and I saw the fire in his eyes. I was mesmerized by the way he stared at me, watching me intently. After a few more thrusts, he moved me again, my legs going over his shoulders.
He fucked me like an animal, claiming me, marking me. He moved me every which way. I was so close to coming again when he moved once more. This happened a few times, but my body was beginning to grow so tired that I didn’t care. Yes, I wanted release, but my body was too exhausted.
“Fuck!” Carter finally cursed, pulling out just in time. Hiswarm cum coated my back and my ass before he collapsed on top of me, pinning me to the bed, his breathing ragged. He stayed like that for a minute before he finally rolled off. He headed into the bathroom, then returned a moment later with a wet rag, cleaning his mess off of me.
“You good?” he asked. I nodded, giving a lazy moan as an answer. It was better than sounding desperate, begging him to make me come. “Want me to carry you to your room?”
“No. I’ll get up in a minute,” I said, still dazed. My eyes were so heavy.
9. A BIRD WITH CLIPPED WINGS
August 28
Day One
Six Days to Go
The soft morning light filtered through the curtains as my eyes blinked open. The unfamiliar surroundings took a moment to register, and I sat up, disoriented. A movement to my left startled me. Carter pulled up his jeans, the faintest hint of a grunt escaping his lips as he fastened them.
“Mornin’,” he grumbled my way, his voice deep and gravelly. It sent unexpected shivers down my spine. I remembered where I was and why. The soreness in my muscles was a reminder of everything Carter did to me. Memories of the previous night came rushing back and my face grew hot. And more so when his eyes dipped to my chest and back. Realizing I was uncovered, I scrambled to yank the sheet back up, my embarrassment growing with every passing second.
Carter finished dressing and headed into the bathroom, emerging a few minutes later. I still hadn’t moved, unsure of what to do, since my clothes were nowhere to be found. The awkward silence hung between us, punctuated only by thesound of his movements and the distant chirping of birds outside.
“Sorry, I fell asleep in here,” I said, my voice small.
“It’s fine.” Carter’s response was curt, his attention seemingly more focused on his own activities than anything else. My mouth moved before my brain caught up.
“I’ll make sure to sleep in my—I mean, the guestroom tonight. Unless you want me in here?” I don’t know why I asked, but regretted it immediately. He didn’t seem bothered one way or another.
“Whatever you want as long as that pussy’s available to me when I want it,” he casually stated, sending a jolt straight to my clit. I felt a twinge of frustration at how close I had been to coming last night.
“O-of course.” We stared at one another for a moment. “D-did you want to now? I just need to pee and freshen up.” As he seemed to think, my gaze locked with his for a fleeting moment before I had to look away.
Finally, he replied, “Don’t have time.” There was another small pause. “Plenty of food and drinks. Help yourself. Don’t worry about Mac.”
“Oh, um, okay.” I swallowed, clutching the sheet closer to my body. With a nod, he turned to leave. “Wait!” I called after him just as he was getting ready to shut the door. “You’re going to work?” He nodded. “Do you always work this early on Saturdays?”
“You always ask so many questions?”
“Yes. When do you get off?”
“Five-thirty, sometimes six. I’ll be home for lunch around twelve.”
“Do you think you could take me to Pete’s Sake later? I need to talk to Tyler a-about the robbery last night. See if he has any cameras.”
“He doesn’t.”
“Oh, well, maybe someone saw something.”
“Probably not.”
“Look, can you just take me to talk to him later?” When he said nothing, I offered, “You can add a day on to our agreement.” And I cursed myself inwardly for doing it.
“Fine,” he said with a sigh. This time, he left. Still tired, I settled back onto the bed, drifting off not long after.
When I wokea couple of hours later, it was to silence, broken only by the occasional creaks of the house and the soft breathing at the foot of the bed.
