Anything remotely close to being around him in a way that makes me more vulnerable, I avoid. I know it’s because he makes me feel…things. Things I can’t define and won’t be sticking around to figure out.

Tonight, however, I just want to have some mindless fun without thinking about tomorrow.

The point of getting out is to not ask questions, do whatever my heart desires, and hopefully avoid waking up with regret. I obviously need to be smart about it, but it would be nice to turn it off. Be a damn vampire and flip the switch to my own humanity.

It may come with consequences, but for now, I’m good with that.

“I have no limits, Mama. Something you could have discovered for yourself had you accepted my offer.”

I groan, annoyed that he’s seriously talking to me like this in front of our friends. But also, that he would bring up the conversation that has haunted my fantasies every day since.

“Use me. You need someone to help with that ache, I’m your guy, Tenley.”

I will never unhear it. Never not see his hunger for me, looking like he could already taste me.

I’ve never given him an inclination that I would ever be interested in screwing him. I think that’s why his offer surprised me so much.

What’s it to August how horny I am?

But also why? Why does he have this kind of effect on me? I could think about any other man, but it has to behim.

The man who has probably seen more pussy than I’ve even seen of my own. I can appreciate his healthy sexual appetite, but August never settles down. Never sees anyone past the first date, making it clear he only wants one thing from them.

And despite the facade I wear proudly, I am not that girl.

I’m a very sexual person. I’m confident in what I want in the bedroom and just how I want it. But I never lead men on. I make my intentions clear, especially if getting off is the only thing I want from them.

Ninety-nine percent of the time, the feeling is mutual.

“Jesus. You two bicker like an old married couple,” Bodhi mumbles, shaking his head.

He’s right. I need to circle back around to what I came here for.

“Like I was saying,” I sneer, shooting August a playfulsmirk. “What do you say we level up the stakes tonight? Maybe call this Dirty Bingo Rated R.”

“Down,” August shouts without thinking.

Predictable.

“I’m in,” Jethro contributes.

“Dirty Bingo is already dirty,” Mack draws out. “How can the stakes be raised any higher?”

“Simple,” I say. “Loser of each round has to remove an item of clothing.”

“Dirty Bingo, yellow light style, babbbbby.” I love King’s excitement.

“Exactly.” I smile, proud of my brilliant idea. “At least someone knows the game.”

“So, we’ll play as usual, doing our individual challenges to get bingo, then the loser strips?” Mack asks.

“Basically.”

We’ll see just how brilliant this is an hour from now.

As soon as the girls hear chants coming from the guys’ table, they run over, likely to confirm the approval.

Bodhi pulls Navy into his lap and whispers something into her ear. Two seconds later, Navy jolts up, Bodhi right behind her as she announces, “Well, it’s been fun.”
