“If you wanted my dick in your ass, all you had to do was ask,” I tease, walking in her direction. I know she heard me announce myself, but her fault for not expecting some type of childish comment to follow with her ass perfectly on display for me like that.

“Shut it, fuck boy. Help a girl out,” she shouts, and it’s cute as hell.

Not sure what Tenley has gotten herself into, but the black silk dress she’s wearing resembles more of a shirt than anything. It’s not until she turns around that I see her tits spilling out of the top and I’m pretty sure her belly popped a button.

“Oh, sweet girl,” I sigh, not wanting to embarrass her, but she’s flustered and frustrated. “You look beautiful.”

“Don’t lie to me, August!” Tenley disputes. “I look like a beluga whale about to give birth. Call the Coast Guard for assistance.”

I probably shouldn't laugh if I want to keep my balls intact.

“You’re correct about the give birth part, but you still have a while. Now the whale reference—not even close. You’re still as sexy as when I first met you.” I reach my hand out to ghost the swelling of her cleavage.

Fuck, her tits keep growing and it’s the greatest thing ever.

Tenley swats my hand away. “You…are…not…helping!” she shouts, and her face turns red. “I’m huge and nothing fits!”

I’m gonna take an educated guess and say this is the stage of pregnancy when women feel uncomfortable with their bodies.

I wish they wouldn’t. She has no idea how beautiful she is like this.

“I have an idea,” I tell her, knowing she’ll likely kick me for this one. “Why don’t you take it off? That’ll solve the problem right there.” I grin.

“So, you do think I’m huge!” She starts crying, and I panic. “Not responding is responding, August!”

What the hell is happening? One minute she’s yelling at me, and the next, my words get twisted, and she thinks I was agreeing to her being huge.

“Tenley. No, baby. That’s not what I meant. It was a joke. I’m sorry if it came out wrong,” I plead with her to understand.

“I used to be hot,” she cries, plopping onto the couch and groaning as another button pops free. “And this dress used to fit. Now it barely covers my right nipple, which also happens to begrowing.” The volume of her voice rises with her panic.

I hate that she feels this way, and there’s nothing I can do to help her.

“If it helps, I think you’re glowing,” I mumble cautiously, and the second her head lifts, I know I’ve said the wrong thing.

I’ll just take my place in the doghouse now.

With no time to apologize, Tenley stands and rips the dress from her body with Hulk-like strength. “Way to be a stereotypical man, August Graves! I’m glowing?” she draws out, mocking my words through tears. “I’m not glowing. I’m fucking growing! Before you know it, you’ll have to wheelbarrow me out that front door.”

She storms off, stomping up the stairs and slamming her bedroom door behind her.

Yep. Definitely said the wrong thing.

But woah. As much as I enjoy her riled up, that’s the last thing I expected to come home to today.

I hate that she’s struggling so much. I’ve been around my own mother plenty of times to recognize the effect hormones can have on a woman’s body. I’ll never pretend toknowwhat it’s like, but I can empathize.

Hopefully, giving her a little bit of space will help.

Deciding to do something that might be helpful for her, I start a simple dinner in the crockpot. It’s nothing special, just chicken with Italian seasoning and one can of cream of chicken. I ate it once a week growing up when money was tight, and truthfully, it’s all I know how to make.

Then, I get started on the dishes and straighten up the rest of the house. I may not be great with my words, and I’m still working on finding the right things to say, but I don’t want Tenley to have to worry about the small things.

Her focus should be on resting and when the time calls for it, fucking me. In that order. I’m a selfish bastard, and I recognize that as well.

I still have no idea what all these dresses were for, though. She left a pile of at least twenty different contenders to try on in front of the living room mirror.

I’m guessing she hates them all.
