“Yes, ma’am.”

“Do you remember someone touching you, inappropriately?”

“I-I did remember that. It was the girl who picked me up in the bar. She was talking to someone on the phone, and theywere running late. When she hung up, she said I might as well have some fun. Did she rape me?” he asked.

“I think what she did qualifies as rape,” said Bree. “I’m sorry, honey. Would you like to talk further about that?”

“No, ma’am. I mean. Yes. But not right now, if that’s okay.”

“It’s okay, Quentin. It wasn’t your fault.”

He nodded, but all of the men could see that he was wrestling with the entire thing. In an environment like the Navy, especially in a tight-knit group like pilots, normally, they would tease one another. All of the men recognized that this was not the time or place for that behavior.

“Ma’ams? Why would they want to watch us pretend to fly?” asked Zane.

“I’m not sure,” said Bree.

“I didn’t really pretend,” said Daniel. They all looked at him, frowning. “I had a simulator. I was literally sitting in a simulator.”

“Wait, you’re sure you didn’t dream that?” asked Ashley.

“I feel positive,” he said. “I remember that the seat had a tear in it, and my brain was telling me that someone was going to lose their ass over that.”

“A simulator,” frowned Bree. “Where would they get a simulator?”

“Let’s find out,” said Moose, staring at the group. “Hiro? Can you do a search and see if anyone advertised to sell or buy a jet simulator?”

“Working on it now. I’ll let you know.”

“Um, who are you talking to?” asked Zane.

“We all have communications equipment implanted behind our auditory nerve,” smiled Moose. “This allows us to have constant communication with our security and technical teams back home, as well as tracking abilities.”

“Sounds like something we need,” frowned Daniel.

“We offered it to the government, but for obvious reasons, they said no. They were concerned that it could be hacked into, and you guys could be located by anyone.”

“But if it could save us, prevent shit like this from happening, isn’t the risk worth it?” asked Quentin.

“You’re asking the wrong person, buddy. I was a SEAL. U-Jin, he was something different,” smirked Moose, pointing to U-Jin.

“Different how?” frowned Quentin.

“I was trained by North Koreans assassins. The best. My mother, father, and grandfather.”

“O-okay,” frowned Daniel.

“Don’t worry, dude. I’m married to his sister, and he’s happily a U.S. citizen now, married.” U-Jin gave a small smile and nodded at them.

“So, what do we do now. I can tell you that sitting on base doing nothing but having our thumbs up our asses isn’t exactly what we were trained to do. Can we help in some way?” asked Daniel.

“Right now, the Navy has asked that we not expose you any further. What you’ve done here today will help us exponentially in finding these people,” said U-Jin. “I do have another question. The women that approached you, did they appear to be young to you?”

“Definitely for me,” said Lucas. “I asked her three times if she was old enough to be in the bar. She showed me her ID, and it said she was twenty-three, but she damn sure didn’t look it.”

“The girl who approached me looked early twenties,” said Daniel.

“Early twenties for me too,” said Quentin.
